Looks like Williams either had limited time or he has a ways to go with the recovery. He had 1 point.

24 points? Coach Robert Jones needs to step down and do whats best for our program. This is embarrassing.

Awesome job on defense by Pats. They forced a lot of turnovers. Trents game was huge considering possible let down after Central game. Great article in Advocate on Trent. But not one mention of Central game in Sunday's paper......Wonder if they will cover Friday's double header?........Dont knw what happened to Williams but he had to go to locker room annd get his own "ice pack". ....Coach Jones never said anything the whole game!.... Freshmen also won. But j.v. fooled around and got beat.

Tyson DID play most of the game and then sat the fourth quarter with ice on his knee. He missed several shots, but rebounded well, and you couldn't really tell that he was having any pain while he was playing. He and Luke did a good job guarding each other, and neither of them got a lot of touches inside, so you can credit both of them for their defense. Neither scored like they usually do. Coach Jackson played the bench from the 5:40 mark to go in the 4th qtr. and McCreary still hadn't hit the 20 point mark until they put in their JV. I know they played a game Monday night so maybe no legs? :idunno: Whatever the reason, a good win for Lincoln!

I've learned to not rely on the paper to cover what you'd like to see them cover. I'd say they'll be there Friday but then again....who knows.....

The Advocate only has three sports writers. They make a strong effort to cover as much as they can but obviously they are limited. They typically cover games that feature two area teams first, and then will chose another game to cover accordingly. And of course Mr. Vaught doesn't cover as much high school because he does so much with UK. If there was no mention of the Lincoln/Madison Central game in the paper on Sunday, it was because the Lincoln County coach didn't call it in.

In playing, Coaching and watching Basketball for 50+ years this is the worst I ever say any team at any time play. It was pitiful!!!!!!!Case Closed.

that's pretty harsh on the coach. I know every coach wants to win. In most cases they will be fired if they do not. So why put it on the coach? The coaches can only give a team tools to make them better. But it takes PLAYERS to win.

That is part of the problem Jones does not Coach. How can you get beat 37 and never call a time out, just set there. Then a player the caliber of Williams have to go get his own Ice Pack WOW!! I don't have the words to express the disapointment.

If the passion to win or even compete is gone from a coach, I agree not fair to the players and school.

Remember when you coached football in 80,s. you got beat 89-0, 75-0, 67-0 all in one season. Then you had a proven leader in your last run in football and wouldn't play him. But you have all the answers.

Like I said I forgot more than you will ever know. You are one of those people who never did anything and because your Son couldn't play. You want to blame me, he had his shot and tossed the ball to the other team to keep from getting hit. You never post unless you want to say something bad about me, why don't you come on over to the house sometime and we will work this out or like I've told you I will work it Out.
