Taylor Gover scored 28 or 31 points and I believe all of his team's points in the 4th but it wasn't enough. The host goes down to West Jessamine at home.

West Jessamine moves on to face Southwestern in the semis.

Amazing performance by Gover.

Gover had 32....28 in the second half.

West was 30-34 from the free throw line.

Congrats to West . They look about as "rag-tag" as Lincoln and I say that with admiration and lots of respect! The only thing that matters is the final score. Lots of luck and sucess to West against Southwestern . Purple Man wouldn't it be wild if Boyle went to state.

Fouls were 3-1 in favor of West. Seemed like every foul was a shooting foul. Congrats to West, hopefully the officials will be as generous on Monday but don't count on it.

Well, you have to blame it on something when the favorite goes down in their first game. Might as well be the refs.

Pulaski played an in your face, pressure defense which can lead to a lot of fouls. This style kind of surprised me coming from PC. Southwestern runs a similar defense so I would expect quite a few fouls. With the way West shoots free throws, this will play into their advantage. Every time PC made their runs, West was able to answer.

I didn't see one call I disagreed with.

We believe.

West Jessamine played well. Pulaski did foul a lot.

I was just told Taylor Gover played with the flu last night. He truly played an amazing second half. I'm glad I got to see it.

West played a very smart game and really took it inside and executed a great game plan. And Gover really showed alot of heart.
