There should be tickets available. Lafeyette had very few fans in the stands at home when they hosted SK last year. I can't imagine they will travel very well.

Since it is on turf I am not sure it will benefit any one team over the other. I guess the team with the more sure handed recievers will be the benfactor maybe. As long as there are not strong winds I don't think the rain will have much of an impact.

Your right it doesn't work that way but then you realize the end zone paint doesn't start until 1 yard deep in. Add in the fact the ball was spotted outside the one yard line and at the very least it was a bad spot.

Not knowing either team or coach, I have to say I agree with Harry on this one. At that point it is about taking care of your seniors and trying to create a positive for your team.

You have absolutely no clue what you are talking about. I hepled out with SK senior night last week and was told directly from Jeff Markesberry to have our players stop at the 50 yard line because Ryle was warming up. We also lined up down the numbers, not in the middle of the field. Rumor has it Simon Kenton's coaching staff tried to talk the Scott gate workers to charge more to Scott fans to get in the game as well.

For the better teams a bye in week 10 I think is a bad idea, because they are likely to have a blowout game week 1 of the playoffs. As a coach I would not want to have a 3 week layoff from meaningful 2nd half minutes going into week 2 or 3 of the playoffs.

I don't see any reasoning for either team pulling their starters prior to this game becoming one sided. Both team are the one seed in their respective districts which means they will likely have a running clock game for the first round of the playoffs. As a coach I would not want my last 2nd half minutes for my starters to have been 3 weeks ago because I was afraid of injury. I see rust and fatigue in the second half of the round 2 playoff game as more of a concern than injury. I would expect both teams to have starters in into the second half.

Scott Co vs SK will come down to who can get the key stops. Getting off the field on 3rd down will be huge. Very unlikely we see X this year.
