  1. He is one of several that did not come back to the team. Some from Football some not.
  2. I am sure that could be said for all of the QBs listed. Half of the games Racke played this year resulted in him being pulled prior to the end of the game, several of which he did not play any of the second half.
  3. Since all of their numbers are very similar I will have to go by the eyeball test and since I did not see Fieger this year I will not comment on him. As for the other 4, if I had to pick a QB to win a HS football game I would take Racke. He was 5-0 against the other 3 this year with big games when going head to head. Admitting I only saw the other 3 against SK so my opinion is a little tainted.
  4. Slusher from Beechwood was selected first team WR and LB so yes you can. I agree Hendrix should have probably been first team. The two glaring omissions for me are Cam Racke and Brian Carter. I could make a better case for both to be the best of NKY at their positions than not be on the list at all.
  5. Number of players by team: Cooper 8 Simon Kenton 7 Scott 7 Beechwood 6 Highlands 5 NCC 5 Cov Cath 5 Ryle 4 Lloyd 4 Campbell Co 3 Conner 3 Dixie 1 Holy Cross 1

Congrats to all that made the list.
  7. Didn't they move O'Hara to corner near the end of last year? Was that a temporary move? Him and Cooper Sheer could be the largest set of corners in the state next year.
  8. Good news congratulations Collin.
  9. 3 sophs started on that offensive line. 7 of 11 starters on offense were underclassmen. 5 of 11 defensive starters return as well. It's a very good bet SK will be the best in NKY again next year.
  10. I know you can't put to many from one team on the list but it is hard to imagine Brian Carter LB and Cam Racke QB from SK not making the all NKY team.
  11. Colton Williams while only a sophomore at SK definitely deserves to be on this list. It would not surprise me if the young man received an offer or two in the next few weeks.
  12. Top 26 are for seniors. All NKY teams are for anyone playing varsity football.
  13. Maybe we should give the guy holding them back a quiet please sign like you see at golf tournaments.
  14. From where I sit there was no intent at all by Pig to hit Fries in the face with the ball. It looked to me that Pig was looking in the opposite direction when he tipped it. No reaction from Austin was not a surprise either he is very level headed and whether it was intentional or not he would not let it bother him.
  15. What varsity players do they have coming back next year? How does that stack up against Male?
  16. Yes and 90% of those open looks came in the second half when they had been dogged for half a game.
  17. The reason CCH looked bad offensively tonight was all about Cooper's D. There is nothing flashy about it just hard nosed move your feet defense and a hand in every shooters face. CCH did not get many open looks till late in the game and by that time they were starting to press offensively. CCH will be much more difficult to guard down low when Ziggelmiere is healthy. He will be a difficult matchup for Cooper in March
  18. 35-24 Cooper at half McNeil 19 CVH 4
  19. Now? Aren't they 13-0? Seems like it's been that way all year. They have been running roughshod through Louisville all season.
  20. SK team and Family dinner prior to morning practice.
  21. This game is nothing like the 2013 Butler game. Lafeyette is a preseason top 5 team, they have more D1 athletes on this one team than SK has had in 10 years. SK got caught looking past a good but not great Butler team. Win or lose Friday night SK will have had their full attention on Lafeyette. The one thing you can say about this year's SK team is that they have been a model of consistency. I see no way that changes this Friday night.
