I wouldn't call Conner a long shot in the ninth. They are top 5 at least and to me that is not a long shot to win it.

I disagree that a player should sit for any circumstance. What if a parent is relocated and they have no choice but to move? I don’t think a child should have to sit out for this but in your opinion they should, why?

I don't think there is a huge gap between the teams in the district but there is enough to make the statment that Conner should be the favorite.

I have seen plenty of girls hoops this year including all but one state game and I still believe these 2 teams are top ten teams in the state. You can't judge the whole season on one loss just like you can't judge the whole season on a single win. Let's judge the whole body of work. The Top 2 teams duked it out for the state championship without a doubt but I don't see many other teams even some in the State Tourney that were deserve to be in the top ten before Ryle and Boone. You stick Ryle, Boone and even ND in the bottom bracket with Marion County and its Marion Vs. any of those 3 in the Semi's. Walton gave Marion a scare in the first Round and honestly should have beat them. Would you then say that Marion is not a top ten team? Furthermore, Walton is a team that won the all "A" but lost twice to Boone in the regular season and once to ND and still gave Marion a run for their money. I am not sure what you are basing your opinion on as I am certain that I am not the one that needs to see more girls hoops.

I would be willing to bet a sizable student section today for Boone with the incentive to miss school.

The state reimburses schools who go to state so I am not sure how much of a fact this is. There is a limit so there might be some small expense. What does the highlighted section actually mean? Are you privy to the statements on the court? I know Mr. Bray very well and yes he is animated and confident, and like most young men sometimes maturity takes a back seat. I would venture to say that the statements on the court came from both sides. It is rarely one sided when it comes to talking on the court. One thing that I can guarantee is that he gives everything he can on every play and will play his heart out. I have not gotten to see him play this year but this young man gives his all and I would have him on my team any day. One person stated on here is was a drama queen, if going all out and risking your body on every play for your team is a drama queen, I will take it!

100% agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As much as I would have hated this as a fan the coach side knows it was a good plan. Kudo's for the coaching staff to have the guts to try it.
