Boone County 72 Holmes 60

There were plenty of Boone students in attendance sitting behind the bench...they didn't make a scene but they were there. -

They also have to adjust to a new coach and coaching style. I have no doubt they will be back very soon! -

A compliment and a dig at the same time...couldn't resist could you!

When a player fouls out it is typically 20 seconds they get if I am not mistaken.

Agreed Pitts had a good game with a few mistakes and to be honest no more than the typical point guard has in a game. I would like him to be slightly more aggressive on Offense but maybe coach didn't want that. Keenan Palmer was the other JV player that got some minutes and he held his own as well. -

Agreed I thought the officials did a very good job, and i don't say that a lot... I can't say that there was a call that really stands out except for the 2 and 1's that were very close and of course the "T" for hangin on the rim. -

Not sure any coach would throw a rivalry game or a game in general!
-
I am fairly certain you probably would have heard what you claim to have heard on the other bench as well. Not to sure what you claim to have heard but I couldn't hear the person next to me let alone something from across the court.

I'm not taking anything away from her , great coach but players win games. Obviously not a coach! It takes both to win, yes the players do the work on the court but the coaches do the work preparing them in practice. You can't have one without the other. Talent goes along way but its what you do with it that counts. The booing i think its silly and happens all the time these days, its a different game and era where apparently that is becomeing acceptable. My highschool days that was not done but that was 15-20 years ago.

Not to mention it may be against league rules. just checked on the site provided the bylaws and yes it is against the rules "Any player that participates for any reason at the high school level in basketball is automatically ineligible for NKMSAA regular season league games as well as NKMSAA tournament."

Yes that three stung a little!

I think this may be incorrect Moss scored the first 4 points of the game and I think she had maybe 8 at the half. Regardless her shots were not falling in the first half. This was a great game and Ryle's GP worked. Nash had the best game I have seen her play she was very aggressive and got after it on the boards. Bottom line in this game was Ryle's team game. Everyone contributed and worked together to secure this win. I look forward to the next matchup!

After further review I now see why. Brown Avg 19.88 pts a game and 10.2 rebs a game Geisler Avg 19.03 pts a game and 13.5 rebs a game Obviously based on stats alone.
-
I didn't have time to pull stats for all of them but why is brown ranked below Geisler? PTS-OFF REB-DEF REB Brown 362-71-113 Geisler 248-63-113

I just want to say this thread has been very entertaining. Being a BCHS graduate and living in NKY, I think it is funny how Highlands fans (a few of which I call freinds) get angry at the drop of a hat when you say a negative word regarding their program and the thought that a better team may exist. Football is not my love, but I do follow when I can, so I couldn't tell you who is going to win. I just hope for a good game on both sides. As for digs, I do like the UK#1fan dig on page 1, and there have been way too many digs to list them all. But Highlands fans, look in the mirror, both sides are equal when it comes to chest thumping. Very entertaining; I will stay tuned. I will be at this game cheering on the Rebels, and look forward to the post game banter for the next showdown.

Glad to hear the that Boone is starting to use the bench its going to be tough come tourney time to make a run without a bench. How did Pitts do off the bench? Sounds like he got some solid minutes. That kids has a ton of upside IMO! -
absolutely agree $20 bucks for all the games is a deal!

Thank you very much.
