This thread isn't meant to be excessively mean, just observational. Does your coach whine about every call or does he/she let the kids play and the officials officiate? I am all for questioning a call when there is good reason, but some coaches seem to feel that working the officials hard the entire game is a necessary part of coaching, while others take a different approach. I am not saying which way is right or wrong, but I think most would agree that some complain as a rule more than others. Who takes it - in your opinion - too far?

Wait to you guys up there see Jim Hicks, I think he went to Grant Co. this year. He is worth the price of admission.

Don't know his name, but Scott Co.'s coach had something to say every trip down the court. Kind of funny in that he argued equally about calls that were made and calls that weren't made.

Rodney Snapp at Newport will also quickly get a following with his actions from the coaching box and beyond!

Coach Carr of Scott is one of my favorites. Not sure if it is more fun watching him with the refs or when he gets mad at a player.

One thing about Coach Carr is he is passionate about the game of basketball.. Not sure which one is worse him on his kids or on the officials, But I think the officials would have the last say and he knows that ...

There was a photo in the Enquirer that showed exactly what you are talking about with the over-the-top tantrum so typical of Coach Hicks. Funny stuff.

I don't think he's as bad as some coaches, but it was a great picture.

While Chev is known as one who will get in the ref's ear I thought he was rather reserved against Conner. With that said he's on the list with Coach Hicks and Coach L and I say that without any negative meaning.
