Basic offense? What is a basic offense? Offense is offense right. Execution is the key. I have no clue anything about this guy but I hate it when people state basic offense.

Not sure i know the history prior to 09 but were the expectation higher prior to this? What caused the change when he came in? Not given the guy much time to build.

Two things here if the ball became pinned under his body then he didn't have control meaning no walk could occur. Right? Secondly, He didn't end up on the floor of his own free will from my point of view it sure did look like a foul. I have no stake in this game as i do not support eithier team. Good game and well officiated, unlike the ladies game!

They did not mention it as the MVP but the last person in both the girls and boys All Tourney Team was the MVP, I saw the plaque they handed them

I wasn't at the game and I have had my doubts about Dixie... apparently they are the real deal... my props go to dixie!

Good questions but really no feelings on eithier side. I don't think Stanley gets enough credit for the role he plays. He plays very solid and rarely turns the ball over (at least in the games i have seen) He also was the second leading scorer last night. No doubt Downs played a great game but Stanley did as well.

As a Boone supporter it was a walk! Nice move but a walk. Downs had a great night a little shakey early with some early turnovers but he did handle the pressure well. I was more impressed with Stanleys play. He made big shots when they needed them and was steady all night.

There were plenty of Boone students in attendance sitting behind the bench...they didn't make a scene but they were there.

They also have to adjust to a new coach and coaching style. I have no doubt they will be back very soon!

When a player fouls out it is typically 20 seconds they get if I am not mistaken.

Agreed there will need to be more bench play in the region if Boone wants to advance. Boone has the inside advantage by far but Holmes has speed. The bigger floor will be an adjustment more so for Boone.

Agreed Pitts had a good game with a few mistakes and to be honest no more than the typical point guard has in a game. I would like him to be slightly more aggressive on Offense but maybe coach didn't want that. Keenan Palmer was the other JV player that got some minutes and he held his own as well.

Agreed I thought the officials did a very good job, and i don't say that a lot... I can't say that there was a call that really stands out except for the 2 and 1's that were very close and of course the "T" for hangin on the rim.
