I remember two games last season, a barn burner at Boone, great game and a not so great Regional final where neither team could do a thing. I hope both teams are hitting on all pistons.

I agree with Clyde, their match up this year is much anticipated by this fan of the game. It really doesn't mean too much until they meet at Regions though.

Depends on where the dist is going to be played. Cooper may be in the rotation so I'm not sure.

Boone had a tough full court press that Scott couldn't handle. Fookes finally called it off in the 2nd quarter after they were up 40-7 but never let up. IMO she could've taken her starters out a little sooner. I think a 35+ lead is safe enough to secure a win. A little classless is you ask me. Wondering if she runs the score up on every team she plays? This was the first time I've seen them play this season but seems like this happens a lot? Opinions?

This team is on a mission. Pulling the press in the 2nd is pulling back. I am in the camp if you schedule em take what you get. I wasn't there but I suspect the second team got plenty of minutes.

Everyone on the bench got in for a lot of minutes. Moss only played about 3 quarters. Two reserves scored in double figures.

Moss came out for awhile earlier for a time or two, however, too. If Moss is double teamed, Boone has some three-point shooters that can burn you. Moss was on a mission and not to be denied.

I don't want to stray from the thread title which is Boone Co. beating Scott very badly. I attended the game with my daughter to watch the Lady Eagles play. And I had always known that Coach Nell was a good coach, but she proved it to me even more at this game. She never ever once stopped coaching. She coached up until the last minute of the game. My daughter, who is now in college, looked over at me, and said "She is a really good coach". It's very unfortunate that the Scott guards could not handle the press, but I really can't blame Coach Fookes for that. She was just coaching her team. And, I know that I am not going to fault her for that.
