That is one of the CRAZIEST endings to a game I have seen in a LONG time.

 

Congrats to Boone County on taking the title and best of luck at Diddle Arena against the 11th Region winner.

 

Also congrats to the Pandas on an outstanding season...you played your hearts out so you have nothing to hang your head about.

The most valuable player is Boone County's Sydney Moss.

Nash was the reason Boone won today. She got the ball in the post wherever she wanted it and finished.

Anyone have any thoughts as to what NDA was trying to accomplish on the OOB play from the side with 9 seconds left and the game tied?

It was the best game of the tourney - boys or girls. Easily the most exciting.

Chandler Clark is one of the better pure athletes to come through NDA in a long time.

For those not at the game, NDA had the ball with 9.4 seconds left in OT and the ball OOB on the side opposite their bench. They ran Voskhuhl to the corner where she was immediately trapped and double-teamed with no where to go and no shot to take. In an effort to get rid of the ball she threw it towards the lane where Sydney Moss intercepted it and took it to the rim where she made the basket and was fouled with 1.1 left. She missed her FT but the the rebound and made a basket at the buzzer to provide the final 4-point margin.

Congrats to Boone Co! Make the 9th region proud at Diddle!

Nice compliment Clyde! How cool would it have been for Clark to get the opportunity to play at Diddle 4 months before she reports at WKU to play soccer?

NINE Regional Championships for Nell Fookes. She now has almost 200 more wins than the all time boys leader Ken Shields. Quite a Story. No other boys or girls basketball coach in the 9th Region has ever won more than five. Congratulations.
