I think you should correct this to "fan". I was there and one particular fan from holmes was cussing and telling the ref he sucked basketballs. At one point she even yelled bs at a call not once not twice but 5-6 times. I was informed the Holmes ad was there just to watch her behavior.

Not sure what the last part of the statement means? Also, why is the coach pressing up 25 with one minute left? I believe a lot of folks would get upset.

I am fairly certain that Conner never shot the bonus and it seems that Boone was only whistled for 4 maybe 5 in the second half. Boone was shooting double bonus early in the 4th. This is not the reason for the loss.

Yes it could, not sure i would want to be at that practice. Yes, early in the game Highlands broke the press well but a few adjustments prevented that in the second half.

Both Teams played well, highlands defense was swarming at times and did cause some fits for conner. Guard play was the key to this win for Conner.

I think her injury will nag her the rest of the season. I will however disagree a little with your statement. At times in games I see her try and do to much resulting in very bad decisions. Shot seletion sometimes is not the best during that period. When she is patient and use her floor presence she gets the job done. She seems to slip in and out of that zone. They need her to play 4 quarters in the zone.

I sat right behind Fookes Bench last night and I did not hear anything vulgar come from the stands at Coach Fookes. All i heard was play ball! I find this far from vulgar.

I don't think there is a reason to panic. Boone played the way they needed to play. Conner had a very cold shooting night. I think Stamm will have them ready for the next meeting.

I think it will be double digits tonight. I think Conner will play hard to win this game. It may not mean anything for seeding purposes but it will be a pride win and maybe a statement.

I think the league needs to have an updated website throughout the season. I'm not sure why there is not. The debacle with the brackets and inability to get info is frustrating. On a side note I think every school in the league should use an assignor for refs. This avoids situations where the same two guys do every game at a location like IHM, Gray, RA etc. There are just a few school where this occurs and as much as we can say they aren't bias we all know they develop some. I think at the very least should not happen when hosting a tourney game.

While I don't disagree that the brackets should have been set-up this way in the first place I do disagree with changing after they were published and on a day when the games were to start. This format is the way it should be but does not always guarantee the best 2 teams play in the finals.

I think you must have forgotten that Boone County has 14 Elem. Schools, 5 Middle Schools, and 4 High Schools all with school activities in the evening. I am sure they didn't even know there was a middle school game at Sharp. They made the decision with the information they had. I would much rather of them waited as well, but when you don't know what the weather is going to do its hard to put people out in that weather at the time. The meteorologist didn't even know what to expect.

Word is that the games tomorrow will go on as planned and today's games will be played Wednesday. This would move the semifinals to Thursday.

I don't know who is making the decisions but i think this is a silly statement to make. Boone County School board made a decision to cancel all activities in Boone County around 4:45 this afternoon when the storm hit and dumped some nasty stuff quickly that caused icy conditions. This took half the teams out of playing tonight anyway. This storm was suppose to be north of us so no one knew it would hit like it did. They cannot control the weather. I think they made the right decision for everyone's safety.

So you are stating that the Scott Coach never yelled at the ref? If so you were watching a different game than I was. Both were giving the refs an earful.

If this is the case they didn't change them this year. District 1 played District 2 last year.

He said something back and then went down the handshake line. Now I don't know who said what first or what was actually said. Both of these coaches were giving the officials a good deal of talk and I thought both were very close to getting technicals. I thought the way Hicks got his was a little fishy. The ref ran past him, and from my angle said something to him. I did not see Hicks body language change or him raise his voice. It did look like he said something but he wasn't looking at the official or in even in his direction. Next thing we hear is the whistle and the T. Hicks asked several times what he said and the officials would not answer. I have seen that official ref several games and he seems to have a little edge to him. I think this is one of those games where it just got away from the refs and they couldn't get it back under control.

They were consistent but bad... I think the one that "T" up Hicks should never ref again for his antics at the end. As he was leaving the court he started back towards Hicks and was yelling at him. Not sure what was said but IMO not the way you end the game as a ref.
