I was wondering what schools in NKY will be hosting team camps in the next couple of weeks and what teams will be participating and maybe what time the camps will take place. Any information will be appreciated.

Due to the resignation of the coach at Cooper, their team camp was going to be cancelled. Beechwood stepped in and is hosting the camp this week. Games start at 5:30 and run through 9:30. Teams include: holy cross, Dixie, gallatin co, villa, Scott, and Conner. Ran very smoothly tonight. Really appreciate beechwood stepping in. We were really scampering to find replacement games.

I got to watch Conner play Villa and Beechwood last night and was impressed with the amount of talent Conner seems to have. Coach Stamm should be looking at another successful season this coming year.

I think Conner will be the favorite to win their district.

I Enjoyed a night of basketball last night at Simon Kenton where I got to see Conner, Holmes, Holy Cross and Simon Kenton play. All of the games were very competitive.

Simon Kenton has a very good point guard. And Holy Cross has a impressive center in Ally Mauhaus.

I agree, Conner should be the team to beat in that district. Cooper will be the bottom again....

Boone always finds a way Nell the wizard

Yes, you can never really count them out. She does an amazing job.....but sometimes other teams are better. I see Conner as better in the upcoming year. But that could change with a transfer or an injury (which I hope neither happens). Those two are definitely the top....

What does Ryle have this year? I would assume they will be pretty good and will be able to compete with Conner and Boone as usual. But I do agree that Conner looks like the favorite at this time.

I don't think there is a huge gap between the teams in the district but there is enough to make the statment that Conner should be the favorite.

Ryle still has Oliverio and Dawn Johnson. Should still be a good team. But would agree that Conner has the right mix of older and younger talent to wIn distict.

Boone still has the best coach in the district.

Dawn Johnson should have a HUGE year. She is tough to guard with her combination of strength and quickness plus she's got a little nastiness to her.
