LN, No offense taken. But part of the problem is you really don't get to see the offense the way you like. Once a team gets up by significant points they usually curtail the offensive plays. Another issue I have seen in our games is that the 2nd/3rd teams score a touchdown but it is called back by the phantom holding call. It stinks that those kids had one of their touchdowns taken off the board.

The problem I have is I paid $6 to watch a 55-0 game. I'd also bet that the 4 vs 1 wins probably come form "usual" districts because they are better across the board.

And none bigger than a very important 2 point conversion!

I thought they celebrated 25 years last season.

Are there fewer football teams now than when KHSAA went to the 6 class system? I noticed in the new alignment data that there are 222 teams. I thought there was 250 teams back in the 2007 season. With all the consolidations could there be fewer teams?

It will be interesting to see if the long travel affects Mayfield. I think it played a role when Crittenden County came up north in 2008 and when Beechwood traveled to Mayfield last year.

Beechwood was there in 2007 & 2008! You didn't make the trip? I hope WV wins but I'm not sure they are quite ready for prime time yet!

Did the freshman only run 2 offensive plays? I think there was the 4th down play where they fumbled and one play the next time they got they ball back? I'd bet Coach Chev was in charge of this group and I trust him the most of getting the job done! Time gets away from you on a running clock.
