Does anyone think there is a big upset opportunity for any of the #4 seeds? I see two potential upsets by #4 seeds - Nicholas County in 1A and West Jessamine in 4A. I think Nicholas County has a pretty good shot at a win. West Jessamine will need to play really well but they are probably one of the best #4 seeds in the playoffs. Anyone think either of those could happen? Any other #4's you think can beat a #1 tonight?

I wouldn't consider Nicholas County to be an upset at all, especially because they were fourth in a district with three ranked teams.

 

West Jessamine would be a mild upset, maybe, but they certainly have the capability of pulling it off. This is the same team that beat Tates Creek by two touchdowns or so.

 

Two other games look interesting ... Perry Central-Pulaski County and PRP-Trinity. Not forecasting upsets, by any means, but I think they could be closer than expected.

Well Brossart gave Frankfort a good run last season, but Frankfort last season had suffered from several injuries while this Frankfort team seems to be a little healthier. I think it will be an okay game, but I suspect Frankfort will extend it out comfortably late.

I don't think so. Brossart is a good #4 seed but I don't think they can beat Frankfort.

 

Here's one that would be huge but I do think there is an outside shot of it - Seneca over St. X.
