I like where the Rebels of Boyle County are rated!!!! Not sure that's where they need to be until a few games into the season, but I still like them there! Can't wait for the fireworks to start again.

I can't verify this yet, but I think this is a moot point. I have heard that the young man in question here is no longer going to be attending Boyle County.

ChiefSmoke, Though I don't know you, I know your dad. Besides hiring all the good coaches mentioned, he's a fine man himself. I'm happy that Boyle Co. got Coach French. From what I've heard and read, he's exactly the type of man for the job.

I think Boyle still has the time to make a quality hire. As for the Morris situation, I think the decline of the offer was the right thing for Morris and Boyle County. The main criteria, IMHO, should be the credentials a candidate brings exemplifying their ability to strengthen, condition and lead young men through challenges and success. Whether that includes "championship" experience is of limited value.

I'm with you Hatz. Since BC won five straight championships, that would mean they have at least 20 playoff appearances even if you don't count the championship game itself, wouldn't it? Plus the following year they were runners up, so that's four more.
