jbwill2, Polls are just opinions after all....everyone has one. Because you don't agree with this week's, you have every right to comment on it, which you've done. I didn't believe Boyle Co. should be rated #1 at the start of the season and I commented as such. Just like I was told then, the ratings are now more closely resembling actuality....give the poll time and it will show the true strength of your Bluebirds team.

jb, Those three teams COULD beat Highlands more than 50% of the time THIS week!!! Next week, that outlook might be different....that's why it's a weekly poll!

Well, if nothing else, the BGP polls gave us another thread topic during the season. Myself, I'm glad to see the poll.......it gives a pretty accurate indication of where teams are and adjusts weekly based upon results of the previous week. Not bad for what I pay for it either (cheaper than a newspaper subscription)!!!

My wife pointed out a theory last night that may explain another reason private schools do better in athletics.....KERA. Since its inception, kids have been taught not to concern themselves with details and reasoning, but to perform. If I'm not mistaken, private schools have not abandoned the practices they've used for years to TEACH, not graduate students. I will have to think on this more, but, at first glance, I think she may have a point.
