  1. Sorry dads, didn't see your post. Can a Moderator delete mine please?
  2. 7 - Boyle Co. 7 - LexCath Second Quarter
  3. Hearsay, Who else is being inducted? Oh, BTW, I figure BHS will win this one.
  4. Was it Gabby Hayes talking about chewing tobacco?
  5. Sorry, should be Nelson Co. above...my wife would kill me if she knew what I did to her alma mater's name!!!
  6. Yes. Bardstown opens with Nelso Co.....then meets Lincoln Co in the Woodford Co. bowl.
  7. I agree, Mr. Network. The Lincoln Co - Mercer Co. matchup will be a great one.
  8. Here we go again! Put me down for: 1) CovCath 2) Johnson Central 3) Bowling Green 4) Highlands 5) Central Just MHO.
  9. Yeah, been here 8 years now....it does grow on ya'
  10. Just one point to make.....Danville is actually the geographic center of the state unless I've read something completely bogus.
  11. I hear the Juggers from Boyle County might be available for booking as a backup group!!!
  12. Online newspapers don't give all the stories and details online.
  13. Oxnard, you make a valid point, but, based upon the statistics given by Bear3, Bowling Green is pretty good on the road. All in all, the winner of this game will come down to a combination of things (how the team travels, condition of the field, health and focus of the players, etc.) As a former BG resident, I'm rooting for them, even though they're in the opposite region than my home team
  14. Thanks BF for editing my post!!!
  15. Looking at the practical side, who would pay for the neutral site (whether college or high school field)? Also, the concessions would probably be lost and the opportunity for increased revenue for the host school would be lost. IMO, part of the allure of the playoffs is the travel to a different location for the game. I have some pretty neat memories of the trips to away games with my kids and hopefully they have the same sort of memories. Not sayiing it's wrong to suggest new things, but I think just because somebody else does something a certain way doesn't necessarily mean everybody should do it that way. JMO
  16. Good work Statman!!!! Watusi, hadn't noticed your avatar before. Where did you get your Glamor Shot done??!!??
  17. Congrats to the Male team!!! As for the detractors of this honor, this poll is like any other...subject to bias and individual evaluation. Given that, be happy for the team(s) that are recognized. If you have a complaint with the poll, start your own and rank the teams as YOU see fit.
  18. Wow, Mr. Network!!! I've been saving my 500th post for something good....and you just made it worthwhile. Glad to hear that you're getting to mix your passion with a positive experience. Hope to be listening Friday night.
  19. I was SO looking for a Bardstown - Danville matchup....but I'll take Danville - Bethlehem. I'll pick a winner later in the week.
  20. I'm thinking if SW keeps playing they way they have lately, they'll move right along in the remainder of the playoffs. Don't have a score picked yet, but I think SW wins this one by 2 TDs
  21. Man, now I have to pick from the school in the city where I grew up, or the school from the city where I live now. Neither choice is the team I expected to be rooting for this Friday night, but I'll pick one of them.
