Central last won a region title in 1995. SW has never won a regional football title.

2003 first round - SW 20 Central 19

2000 first round - SW 21 Central 0

Go Southwestern! Let's bring two Regional title's to Somerset this year!

Does anyone know anything about Central this year besides the obvious?

the 2000 game was 21-20 i think

The score was 20-19 SW. Going to be a great game. Neither team has played anyone to compare their games to. The not knowing each other and haven't played in 3 years got the making of a great game. The long journey from Louisville will be somewhat of a advantage for the home team but playing a couple of really good Louisville teams helps Central. Going to be a good one at the RESERVATION........................LTW.

I think Central has a very talented defense. But, SW has had an edge against this Central team for a while. Central can't get caught up in what happened in the past.

 12 safeties to 10 1/2 safties ::banana:

SW 42 Central 3

I'm thinking if SW keeps playing they way they have lately, they'll move right along in the remainder of the playoffs.

Don't have a score picked yet, but I think SW wins this one by 2 TDs

SW 38

Central 12

Central has speed and lots of it, a player name Joe Scott, a 260-pound end one of the state's top players. This team is dangerous,so Southwestern be aware, so just go out there and take it. Good luck Warriors.:thumb:

SW--20

Central--13

I have added a poll at the top.

Southwestern got over a huge mental hurdle last week. I say they continue into uncharted territory this week and bring home their first regional title and we have two regional titlests in the county in the same year for the first time ever. Southwestern 28 Central 20. Good luck Warriors!
