Southwestern got over a huge mental hurdle last week. I say they continue into uncharted territory this week and bring home their first regional title and we have two regional titlests in the county in the same year for the first time ever. Southwestern 28 Central 20. Good luck Warriors!

I think Joe's always supported Southwestern except when we play Somerset which is justified. He along with a lot of us support all three local teams and our favorite when playing each other. I'm hoping Somerset wins again Friday night along with Southwestern. Keep it rolling guys!!!

:thumb: Exactly LTW. I picked Southwestern in both playoff games and offered congrats each time. Its just that I bleed purple and gold and have to root against them that one game each year. And thanks for the welcome Carpe, I hope this wagon keeps rolling all the way to Louisville!

I have no prediction as I have no idea what Central does or haven't taken time to look at their schedule and record this year.

The Commonwealth Journal will look odd Sunday " 2 Regional Champs in Pulaski Co.!" I just hope they kick their spellchecker in gear and spell everything correctly!!!!

The only advantage Southwestern will have in this game is the home field, and that will not be near enough to offset the athletic superiority of the Yellowjackets. Central wins this one by 16 .

I was a part of both of the central victories oxnard and both times their athletic superiority was suppose to beat us so I don't put much into the whole athletic thing thats why they play the games I say the tradition of tight games continues sw 20 central 19

The thing that makes this year different than past years is that this Central team finally has developed some focus and discipline, which was previously lacking. Because of this, I still stand by my statement that Central will overcome the ghosts of the past and beat Southwestern by 16. I have a feeling that at the conclusion of this game, you will think that all the teams Southwestern previously faced this season were playing in slow motion.

Does Central have a different coach this year than in the past because those other two teams were faster too, just wondering where the change came from.

Central might be focused but they are no more disciplined than in the past. Not the style of a Serotte-coached team.
