Rate the teams in the 10th region for next season

Strong statement! I know Prewitt gets bashed for his lack of maturity, but still not sure if Handshoe has the most complete game. -

Not arguing your statement, but other than Jacobs, who do they return or who steps up from their younger groups? I know they got a few 7th graders that will be studs! -
LLoyd Memorial head coach search??

Who were some of Rudy Tassini's old assistants? Are any of them around that might want and take the job? I think if Lloyd wants to restore what they once had, they need to go back to the old L with the 3 diamonds logo, you old school Juggernauts know what I'm talking about. Just thinking about that logo gets me pumped! -

Right now I like Montgomery as the favorite with Clark, Campbell, Brossart, Pendleton, and Harrison all in the mix. As stated previously, with the regional tourny being held at MCHS, this might give the edge to the Indians. I really like what they have returning with Prewitt and Handshoe (about 40ppg combined) with Brandon Fruth and Austin Crisp along with some younger guys that will have to step up. Will be an interesting year in the 10th! -

Well if this is true, according to Neverwrong this would be a terrible choice b/c he as well used to be a Lucas assistant. -
Not sure how this was missed, but Sophomore G/F Omar Prewitt of Montgomery County also scored his 1,000th career point during the district tournament. Prewitt could possibly become the boys all time leading scorer at MCHS after next season passing Billy Ray Fawns! Great things still yet to come for this young man!

Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year- Timmy Knipp
Touch The Line replied to 3rd's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
Knipp is tough and he plays so effortless and still gets things done. Will be a stud at the next level! -
I would like to go ahead and just start compiling a list of any and all student athletes that have/will sign or plan to go on to the next level and play basketball regardless of division. I always enjoy seeing where kids are going next year!

Scott 99 Augusta 69
Touch The Line replied to HOMELESS CAMEL's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
I think if he was a NOT SO GREAT COACH he would have either been ran out of Augusta, not been coaching at all, or would have known that he wasnt a great coach from all the complaints and lack of support, none of which characterize Kelch. Plus if he was a bad coach I dont think the player would have passed him the ball! But I understand what you are saying. -

#45 was setting a screen for Prewitt to pop out to the wing and that is where the illegal screen call was made. In order to have an illegal screen you must have a player setting the screen. IF it was just Prewitt and Walsh out there on the wing there is no possible way the officials could have made that call. -
Switching Regions-Opinions
Touch The Line replied to Touch The Line's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
That is my biggest arguement is the manner in which different regions call games. At this time of the year each team has developed a style and system in which they play and I am not sure if the change is needed. -

Hundley continues to impress. I hope his run continues through Lex Cath. Good luck Bumblebees! -
I was just wondering what kind of opinions people have about the change made with officials moving to different regions to officiate Regional Tournaments. I am sure that coaches have thier own opinion, I was just wondering what the opinions of the fans might be? Do you see a major difference in the calls, etc?

Every other stat keeper had Prewitt for 4 except the Mason County bookkeeper and the MC coaches did bring this to the attention of the refs when they called Prewitt for his 5th but as you said the complaints fell of deaf ears. Not sure how 3 Regional officials can let continue on in the game and not at least talk about it and figure it out when there is a difference in the fouls at hand. I know its the official book that counts, but at that time of the game and the importance of that player to the game, I thought the refs did not handle the situation correctly. -

I would imagine that the fans of opposing teams would have a blast with a name like that!
