Rate the teams in the 10th region for next season
Right now I like Montgomery as the favorite with Clark, Campbell, Brossart, Pendleton, and Harrison all in the mix. As stated previously, with the regional tourny being held at MCHS, this might give the edge to the Indians. I really like what they have returning with Prewitt and Handshoe (about 40ppg combined) with Brandon Fruth and Austin Crisp along with some younger guys that will have to step up. Will be an interesting year in the 10th!

LLoyd Memorial head coach search??
Well if this is true, according to Neverwrong this would be a terrible choice b/c he as well used to be a Lucas assistant.

Omar Prewitt-Montgomery County
Not sure how this was missed, but Sophomore G/F Omar Prewitt of Montgomery County also scored his 1,000th career point during the district tournament. Prewitt could possibly become the boys all time leading scorer at MCHS after next season passing Billy Ray Fawns! Great things still yet to come for this young man!

Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year- Timmy Knipp
Knipp is tough and he plays so effortless and still gets things done. Will be a stud at the next level!

Signees
I would like to go ahead and just start compiling a list of any and all student athletes that have/will sign or plan to go on to the next level and play basketball regardless of division. I always enjoy seeing where kids are going next year!

Scott 99 Augusta 69
I think if he was a NOT SO GREAT COACH he would have either been ran out of Augusta, not been coaching at all, or would have known that he wasnt a great coach from all the complaints and lack of support, none of which characterize Kelch. Plus if he was a bad coach I dont think the player would have passed him the ball! But I understand what you are saying.

GRC vs Pendleton updates
Keep em coming! What has been Clark doing to be so effective?

Montgomery County 58 George Rogers Clark 51 10th Region Championship
Haven't heard that, but if it is true, it would hurt some. Caitlin is so exciting to watch, plays that game as hard as she can every play. Little aggrivating thing on defense and can bring the ball up on offense. Hope she stays!

Clark County vs Pendleton County 10th Region Finals Predictions
I think that as long as Clark decides to get the ball inside they will win easy. If they want to stand outside and shoot 3's and be "pretty" PC will be able to keep it close. I like Clark 77-52.

Montgomery County 58 George Rogers Clark 51 10th Region Championship
With the entire team (minus Conyers) coming back, this could be the first of several more championships in a row! Good luck Indians!
-
Pendleton County 74 Montgomery Co 70 OT
#45 was setting a screen for Prewitt to pop out to the wing and that is where the illegal screen call was made. In order to have an illegal screen you must have a player setting the screen. IF it was just Prewitt and Walsh out there on the wing there is no possible way the officials could have made that call.

Switching Regions-Opinions
That is my biggest arguement is the manner in which different regions call games. At this time of the year each team has developed a style and system in which they play and I am not sure if the change is needed.

Woodford County 56 Madison Southern 50
Hundley continues to impress. I hope his run continues through Lex Cath. Good luck Bumblebees!

Switching Regions-Opinions
I was just wondering what kind of opinions people have about the change made with officials moving to different regions to officiate Regional Tournaments. I am sure that coaches have thier own opinion, I was just wondering what the opinions of the fans might be? Do you see a major difference in the calls, etc?

Pendleton County 74 Montgomery Co 70 OT
Every other stat keeper had Prewitt for 4 except the Mason County bookkeeper and the MC coaches did bring this to the attention of the refs when they called Prewitt for his 5th but as you said the complaints fell of deaf ears. Not sure how 3 Regional officials can let continue on in the game and not at least talk about it and figure it out when there is a difference in the fouls at hand. I know its the official book that counts, but at that time of the game and the importance of that player to the game, I thought the refs did not handle the situation correctly.

Pendleton County / Montgomery County 3/3 predictions
Pendleton won a close one earlier in the year when they met at PC, but I look for the Indians to have a much stronger showing than they did during that meeting. I like the Indians in this one.
-
Hobo McCoy - Pike County Central
I would imagine that the fans of opposing teams would have a blast with a name like that!
-
Mason County / Campbell County 3/3 predictions
Campbells press and zone defense will give Mason some troubles, still think Mason's size might be too much along with homecourt adv. Royals by 8 58-50.

Lloyd Memorial 2011
Got a name?

Lloyd Memorial 2011
JD, couldn't agree more with your comments. It is very aggrivating to get on any thread dealing with Lloyd and it turns into a coach/administration bashing session regardless of sport. I think Lloyd has great coaches in all programs (Key, Lucas, Moore, etc), would just like people to find other excuses besides the coaching.

Montgomery County 65 Harrison County 54
Congrats to the Indians, advance to the next round! Stats?
-
George Rogers Clark / Harrison County 3/4 predictions
This will be a tough game for Harrison. After losing the district game in the fashion they did was a real heart-breaker for any team, let alone an inexperienced tournament team. Then you add on the fact you have to play one of the top teams in the state, not sure if the Breds are mentally and emotionally ready to play this game. On the other hand I think Rietz will find a way to try and get his boys ready. Clark wins by 20.

Lloyd Memorial 2011
You don't want Lucas, Yeagle did not work, perhaps its not the coaches that is the problem!
-
Lloyd Memorial 2011
Sounds like there are a lot of people that have some type of internal hatred or grudge with the program at Lloyd or with Lucas himself.
