Not but really my guess would be:

1) Pend Co

2) Mont Co

Mason Co anywhere from 3-5.

How many starters did Montgomery and Pendleton Co lose. I also heard that Harris wasn't going to play basketball for Mason Co next year , just concentrate on football.

What happend? You used to post that the champ of the 10th region should be rated #1 till someone knocks them off. By that reasoning shouldn't you have listed GRC as #1??:D

I never did buy that reasoing when Mason Co was the returning champ and I don't buy it this year with GRC either.

Montgomery Co would be my top pick. Bishop Brossart has that really good Freshman class that will be Sophomores. Also they had 2 Freshman that played on JV and varsity. By tourney time they should be a contender. Pendleton Co will be too. That would be my top 3 as of now.

The region will be the most open it has been in years.

As far as GRC we return Charlie Rogers, Bopper Stenzel and Adam Fatkin with varsity experience.

Deming may start a the mid level to next to last maybe if they start to jell as a team and find out what their strengths are and who can possibly stand out, Feels strange to mention Deming and not here Luke or Kyle's name.

Returning players are Jonathen Polosky and Calvin Schalch, 2 starters, Travis Miller has been the 6th man off the bench, Nathan Massey, Jacob Curtis, unless they can get production from the first 5, we'll see.

What about Paris and Bourbon? You'd think at least one of those teams would have to be at very least decent. Are there no talented kids in Bourbon County? What about Nicholas?

Campbell County returns 2 starters, Dalton Griffin and Nate McGovney. Jared White also logged a lot of minutes this year. Sophomore Corey Holbrook developed a lot this year and could break the starting lineup. The Camels will not be big so they will plan to run you to death.

I was very impressed with Coach Russell in his first year at Campbell County and I expect the Camels to win the district and compete for the regional title.

I really like Montgomery and then Pendleton. After that it is really wide open. Personally speaking I think GRC will have a decent team next year. Fatkin should come into his own after playing behind the other bigs from the last few years and I see Bopper scoring quite a bit more now that he won't be deferring to this year's players. Throw in Rogers and those three give some place to start. But for now Montgomery has to be the favorite based on talent and isn't the region at Montgomery in 2012?

Unless there are some new faces in the 10th next year, I'll also go with Montgomery County as the favorite. Maybe not a HUGE favorite, but the favorite.

For those that take a lot of stock in home court advantage (and there are several here), the fact that the regional tourney will be played in Mt. Sterling may make the Indians downright invincible.

And yes, the region should be wide open. Any of half a dozen teams at least may have a legitimate shot at the title.

What does Brossart look like next year? I used to be in the loop with them but not so much anymore. I know they will have a lot of sophomores capable of Varsity PT.

Harrison, Pendleton, Brossart, Montgomery, Clark, Mason, Campbell, Scott, Augusta, Paris but it's """"Wide-Open"""" anybody can beat anybody on a given night.
