Ky High School State Tourney
I just hope they get somebody in there quickyl because the manner in which the coaches acted during the SL vs. Dunbar game was emabarrassing, especially for a championship program.

Ryle's Bobby Stauffer Commits to Ohio Dominican
Nice pick up for the Panthers. Ohio Dominican is a nice small liberal arts school (newly added to DII) just outside of Columbus, OH. Not only will this young man get a very good education, but the athletics are continuing to improve each year.

Hard throwing pitchers
I am wondering with all these names that are being throw out here stating they can throw 90+ mph, what are they throwing on a consistant basis over the period of a game (5,6,7 innings)? Also saw that they have Chase Mullins listed at 6'9 245?????? If those stats are true shouldn't old boy being playing some football and basketball as well, Bourbon Co should could have used that sort of help, or are those measurements just a bit extreme?

9th Region in boys BB in 2011
Scott County North, that is funny. Funny how these transfers always find the schools that already have talent coming back, guess we can just call it a Lebron James trend.

Reinhart named new coach at Nicholas County
He is a young man that played high school ball at Campbell County and then went on to play at NKU then Georgetown. He teaches at Holmes High School and has been coaching the Freshman team at Campbell County. Best of luck to him.

Top 10 players in each region 2011-2012
In no order: Aaron Jacobs-Paris Chris Gillispie-Bourbon Omar Prewitt-Montgomery Jake Handshoe-Montgomery Tyler Black-Mason Caleb Ford-Harrison Mason Monroe-Pendleton Nate McGovney-Cambpell Ryan Gallenstein (who a lot of people forget about)-St. Pat Bopper Stenzel-Clark Pulliam-Harrison The PG from Cambpell?????? Just to name a few. Not too familiar with Brossart but I’m sure they have a top 10! Not saying the kid isn't good, but I think even on his team he will be option #3 with Monroe and the big kid coming back, Rearing.

Nicholas County
This is correct! He was able to introduce himself to the team as well. Happy for the young man, I know he will both excited and nervous at the same time. Will be a good start for him and he has a lot of great coaches around the area that are always willing to help out. Best of luck to him!

Who else was in the running for this position?

9th Region in boys BB in 2011
I was say Dixie with what they have coming back. Will be interesting with Pike comitting to Auburn if he will still play or take the time to get ready for football. However, if the rumors of the transfer from Ohio coming in are true, look for Dixie to be at the top!

Top 10 players in each region 2011-2012
I think we the aforementioned list of 10 region performers, IMO I do not think that he is top 10. He is a very nice role player for PC, but not top 10.

Zeke Pike to Announce His Choice On Wednesday
This is one of those moments that Pike should learn from, and it sounds like he has. In the long run, it will hopefully make him better, both as a person and leader on the field. The following was the closing statement made from the above recruiting scout article. You would THINK the kid would learn, however, information that I have read on BGP, this past season he was ejected from his last game for fighting and will be suspended for the opening game next season against New Cath, he was benched by his coach on another occasion for behavior, who knows how many unsportsmanlike penalty's and technical fouls he got this year in basketball. What more will it take before he actually learns?? I hope nothing else more happens that may jeopardize his future. The kid has the opportunity of a lifetime and an opportunity that millions of kids across the country will not get to experience, ever!. I hope that he does eventually learn something from ALL his mistakes so that his gift and this opportunity does not go to waste.

Zeke Pike to Announce His Choice On Wednesday
That is correct, I had my years mixed up in my original post, forgot to carry the 2 and barrow from the tens place, all mixed up!

Zeke Pike to Announce His Choice On Wednesday
My apologies, thought Robinson was a frosh this past year. Michigan sounds like it might be a good fit with some of the QB's they have turned out in the past (Brady, Mallett, Henne, etc). If Pike can go in, redshirt, then he could be looking at 4 years of starting????

Zeke Pike to Announce His Choice On Wednesday
Is he willing to wait behind Robinson (the current QB) for two more years if he stays?

2011 Boys' Kentucky All-Star Basketball Roster
Nice to see 3 players from the 10th region representing the Kentucky team, not exactly the 3 that I expected, but still nice!

LLoyd Memorial head coach search??
@JD, is there a deadline set by the state as far as a date when teams have to have their spring practice completed by? I think it would be awesome if they could bring a coach in and still allow the new coach to hold a 2 week practice session just like every one else.

LLoyd Memorial head coach search??
Has Lloyd set a deadline for filling the position? Also, who is running spring practices right now for the Juggs?

A.P. Kentucky All State Team
I agree that Wing is a good player, but just because he had some good games in the state tournament doesnt necessarily make him one of the states top players. I believe he will be there next season though.

Coaching changes
Saw Pat Murphy was an applicant, former Lebanon Head Coach, does anyone have more information on this guy (other places he coached?)

Rate the teams in the 10th region for next season
Strong statement! I know Prewitt gets bashed for his lack of maturity, but still not sure if Handshoe has the most complete game.
-
LLoyd Memorial head coach search??
Lets bring all the old school back! Where is good old Coach Richard Wilmhoff now or days?

LLoyd Memorial head coach search??
Correct!

Rate the teams in the 10th region for next season
Not arguing your statement, but other than Jacobs, who do they return or who steps up from their younger groups? I know they got a few 7th graders that will be studs!

LLoyd Memorial head coach search??
Who were some of Rudy Tassini's old assistants? Are any of them around that might want and take the job? I think if Lloyd wants to restore what they once had, they need to go back to the old L with the 3 diamonds logo, you old school Juggernauts know what I'm talking about. Just thinking about that logo gets me pumped!
