Funny never with Scott do I see any complaints about who starts, or subs, or misses free throws, or 3 pointers. It is always the refs. So I will stand by my prediction in post #6. Whenever the end comes for the Eagles, trust me there will be three people to blame, and they wear striped shirts.

If Scott loses, one thing will be certain, the refs will have sucked. Write it down.

I would. If you can't finish in the top 2 in a 4 team district, you don't deserve to go to the region. Period.

I didn't criticize highlands at all and do believe they are on the right path....I just felt it was an unnecessary shot at Newport from a previous poster and their efforts-that's all. Good luck to the Bluebirds in 2013 and beyond.

Four King Crazy-look I have no affiliation with Newport whatsoever, but their pitcher is good, and you can say they played a soft schedule, but they are in your district (36) and they went to the Region last year and you didn't. So they could say the same things-they had no defense behind their pitcher, etc, but again Highlands has a long way to go (and I think they are headed in the right direction) before they can start calling out others schedule. They ain't that good yet.

Reread your post #32 and tell me if "everyone knew it was a terrible call" rings any bells. I don't talk smack..no need...your program thinks they are better than they are. When you lose it is the refs fault every single time. Not the coach or the players....nope the refs.....one of the reasons you don't win, and your whining falls on deaf ears too, but keep on crying there is always another poorly officiated game right around the corner for the Eagles.

Notre Dame is the favorite to win the Region this year no doubt. Others can pull the upset, but it will be that, an upset. Conner, Ryle, Cooper, Boone-they all have to make the region just like NCC and Highlands. Notre Dame will unquestionably be in the region which is step 1 to winning the region.

Counting free throws means nothing in a basketball game. NOTHING. Scott plays aggressive defense and they foul. Every Scott loss this year has been due to the refs....loses its appeal after a while. Hey Scott would be undefeated if it weren't for the stripes. Laughable.

Folks may want to consider NCC and Beechwood's pitchers too since they are both young and made the region last year. Neither overpowering but they help their teams win and that is what it is all about. Time for Boone to make the Region tourney don't ya think. The Rebels should be tired of playing third fiddle to Ryle and Conner...

Queen of Pink....I wasn't there either and was responding to a post that said that is what coach Trosper said.....sometimes people have to read the thread prior to responding.

Don't know who officiated the game, but it seems that whenever Scott is playing the officiating is questioned. Especially when the Eagles lose, which they didn't here. As for Trosper to scratch a football official because of a basketball game-does anyone else find that weird and unprofessional? Clyde is right-best thing for the official to do after the game is get out of there....nothing good can come from hangng around.
