I think there were between 10-12 charging calls made in the Bourbon-Clark Co game this past week. Pure judgement call.

I'm a senior citizen and an ex coach with a lifetime coaches card but I always pay my way into games and always will. Schools need the money to maintain their programs. Remember they have to pay five officials and the money has to come from some where.

Not a pretty game to watch at all. Too many miscues and some lack of hustle. Don't take anyone for granted. Don't let up boys, you got a good thing going for you. I'll always be there to support you.

It's still a home court advantage if they're playing at home.

I agree , Montgomery Co and Rowan Co both need a slot in the top 25 teams .

Gotta love that Clark Co team. They're all heart. Love the way Bopper Stenzel plays the game. Fadkin and Rogers also do a lot of good things out there.

The kid from Ashland who took the last 3 point shot was fouled. That was very easy to see. I'm sure all three officials saw the foul and none would make the call.

I understand that but the question is, does he have control of the ball when his hands first touch the ball. I could have control of the pass when the ball hits my hand but I slap it on the floor anyway, pick it up and hold it and then start dribbling it again. It would be a no call but yet ,I had control of the pass when it first hit my hand. I do see this a lot, probably at least 20 times this season already. I saw it called once.

Catch it, hold it , put it on the floor(dribble it) pick it up ,hold it and dribble it again. Everyone in the gym was shouting at the ref about a no call.

I saw it happen twice last night at the Warren Central and Clark Co game. One was definitely a double dribble but was not called. The player actually caught the ball ,put it on the floor, picked it up ,held it and then started dribbling the ball again. No call.

Thay have an Associated Press, Courier Journal, Lexington Herald and the BGP ratings that usually come out after the first of the year.

107.7 FM is the Winchester-Mt Sterling station that will carry the game.

Do you see a contrast in how games are called in different regions. I see a lot of 10th and 16th region games and it seems refs call closer in the 16th than they do in the 10th. I'm not saying they're bad but called different.

You guys are probably right but I just think the call is missed a lot. As someone mentioned , it is a judgement call. Clyde ,what I meant was kids with bad hands have more trouble catching the ball , so the drop the ball more often.

Kinda gives the kids with bad hands an advantage.
