  1. Dieudonne would get my vote but again he plays with better boys that makes him a better player.
  2. Great year for the Clark Co boys. You couldn't ask for more than they gave us this season. Great success story with a group of overachievers. I'm so happy with each and every boy on that team and and I also give Scott credit for doing such a wonderful job . Proud of all of them!!!
  3. I'm going to keep a close eye on Bopper, Charlie, Dominic, Adam and Taylor and whoever they play.
  4. Someone even predicted that Harrison Co would win the region.
  5. Bopper told me before the season started, ----, we're going to be better than people are expecting. I think we can get as much done as last years team. His thinking and desire was there from the beginning and this team has been so much fun to watch. Love em.
  6. In the last 6 years I couldn't wait to buy a U K Yearbook. Probably won't buy one next year due to a loss of interest.
  7. Rankings make great conversations and we all enjoy reading them although we know they don't amount to much.
  8. Cards played great this year to be picked 6-7th in the region. It just goes to prove that no one knows.
  9. I remember in our home game against Montgomery Co that Bopper clapped his hands when a Montgomery error was committed and they called a T on him. I had never seen that before but found out that any jesture of that type is a T. I don't care for that rule. I didn't think what Harris did last evening should have been called at all. Dumb rule IMO.
  10. That's the thing about high school basketball, you never know whats going to happen. It's who ever has the best game that night.
  11. You know and I know that 16th and 10th region officiating is as different as night and day. You guys talk about holding, hand checking and pushing and Mason Co has been doing that for 40 years.
  12. Why in the world does the 10th region use the 16th region refs. They call touch fouls and walk, walk and walk. I think they're horrible, not for one team or another but they just make bad calls. I don't know if it's just me (and I'm not a Mason Co fan) but it just doesn't seem like a regional tournament when played at Montgomery Co.
  13. I know they have him and I'm just saying that when he was out of the game because of foul trouble, Montgomery had trouble scoring.
  14. Montgomery wasn't too impressive either without Prewitt.
  15. I think Scot's free throw shooting played a big part in their loss, especially in the 1st half. They seemed not to want the ball in the last quarter. I think Hamm's 3 pointer was the back breaker and gave Mason some momentum .
  16. I think the level of competition would be a major factor concerning a players stats. If your schhool plays a weak schedule, good stats are much easier to obtain. If you play Needmore or Triple Creek you may get 40 points , 20 rebounds and 10 assists it's nothing to brag about because they're horrible and I've seen coaches play the weakest possible schedules just to rack up wins.So comparing stats among boys would not be fair.
  17. I know they have to list as many boys as possible from different teams but I wish that they had made room for Taylor Howard from Clark Co. For his size ,he's a great rebounder and has a natural gift of knowing to where the ball is coming off the rim. Also a good shooter and defensive player. I would like to congratulate all those who made the list.
  18. The only fair site for a regional tournament is a netural site. The only netural site ever used in the 10th region was the Nothern University gym. That site is just too far for teams such as Montgomery ,Clark and other teams in the eastern and southern part of the region. The discussion can go on and on but I can't see a change in the rotation of the tournament. Two of our districts will always vote Mason Co , one district will always vote Montgomery Co and the other will always vote Northern Ky and I don't blame any of them. That's the way it will always be. Agree?
