It was a fantastic game that went right down to the very end! Very proud of GRC tonight - Fatkin fouls out with 3:46 left to go in the game, but the Cards worked with multiple line-ups to hold off the Blue Devils. Taylor Howard with 14 big points, but Charlie Rogers big basket with 9 secs left and Bopper Stenzel steal helped seal the deal.

 

Henry Clay had a last second shot from half-court that did draw iron. I think it was Green for HC who led them in scoring (guess he had about 27?)

It was very nice to meet strongopenyon tonight and watch the 3rd quarter with them. Hope to see you at state tourney.

 

What a ball game!!! Huge win for the Cards. Great way to end the regular season with a 25-5 record. Knew it would be close and it was. So proud of all our boys and coaching staff. Taylor Howard, so thrilled for him, he was a big success in our win tonight. Adam, was on fire and scored the first 6 points for GRC. Adam fouled out with 3:46 to go in the game. GRC was up 54-49. Cards played smart, but needed to hit their free throws in the 4th Q.

 

So very proud of this team. They showed tonight, why they are the team to beat in the 10th.

It's all good. The trio of Grundy, Green and Cunningham will be fun to watch over the next 2 years. I am looking forward to watching the Louisville Magic play this summer.
