I guess I missed the memo: I didn't see that happen yet. If anyone stakes a claim to that position it would be Montgomery County at this juncture.

I agree 100%..........I would not put GRC as a favorite in region......its still wide open IMO with Montgomery having a slight edge....

Have seen both play and if this game is played someplace other than PC, GRC will win....

Great game to gage the region since we've yet to see Clark and Montgomery play the other region contenders. We've seen matchups with Scott, Harrison, Mason, and Pendleton. Nice to see other regional matchups. Schedules get interesting as we hit the new year.

Are you implying something with this?:lol:

I do not think GRC is the favorite but I would say they have moved out of middle of the pack to the top tier with Pendleton,

Montgomery and maybe Scott.

Cov. Cath got cheated. We get it. Let it go. True about Montgomery County, I forgot Handshoe was out with their losses. I wrote too soon on that. GRC is playing well though and in the top tier.

I agree GRC is in the mix for sure.....Cov Cath didn't get cheated....it was a 4 overtime game....they had plenty of opportunities to win the game and didn't do it...there was definitily, definitily bad calls, but each team had multiple chances to win the game...I agree though...Let It Go TOG

GRC is certainly raising some eyebrows at this point of the season and have definitely thrown their hat squarely into the ring as contenders for the 10th Region title.

We (Brossart) have done everything asked of us so far and sport an 8-0 record heading into next week's Lloyd Invitational where we are guaranteed three games against quality competition. Admittedly, we have not been running with the 10th Region elite to date, but will get those chances against Campbell County on January 6th and at Pendleton County on January 13th, which should provide some indication as to whether the Mustangs are contenders, pretenders, or just a good Class A team. Unfortunately, we do not have Montgomery County or GRC on our dance card this season, something that may come back to haunt us (or work in our favor) later on down the road. We also do not play Harrison County until February 1st, Scott until February 10th, and Mason County until February 14th this season, so we will probably remain a mystery in the grand scheme of things until those games are played.

It sure makes things more fun and interesting with any number of teams having a shot at grabbing the brass ring in March.

Nope your both wrong! I didn't feel CovCath got cheated and as thus there is no reason to let it go, but the question was asked who do you think will win the PC vs. GRC game and I said if it's at anyplace other than PC, GRC will win because, they are the better team but PC has a huge home court advantage with their crowd of screaming fans.

I hate it when others try to read something that honestly isn't in a post, other than just an opinion on a question asked. :idunno:

And I am guessing from the poll at the moment, others agree with me!

My opinion is based on several of your posts after the PC, CC game....but whatever....GRC does win this game in a squeaker I believe....

Where and at what time is this game?

Really great points and I agree with you. I have wondered several times this year why Brossart didn't strengthen their schedule. Especially, if you thought you were going to have a good team. I think this may come back to haunt them in some tough games down the stretch.
