  1. They maybe small in numbers, but they ALWAYS play really physical, very sound football. Coach T will have his kids prepared.
  2. I was a little shocked that Coach E made the move to put the QB at LB this week (he is aweful valuable on O), but he was the difference compared to last week's defensive effort (as well as the Doll kid)...good call on that one coach e-gotta do what you gotta do come districts!
  3. This one kind of surprised me. E'town has really struggled this year (was at the E'town-LaRue game and they look down right BAD). I figured Central would score a ton...mud must have hampered Central quite a bit, or E'town turned it around in record time.
  4. Ballard is looking good. Can they press Trinity for the district championship? Time will tell.
  5. Didn't get to see the entire game (man can only take so much water in his shoes), but it seemed that HC had North off balance on both sides all night. Great job by HC in getting the kids ready to play in deplorable conditions. Any stats for the entire game for both teams Mike?
  6. Oldham has a shot to knock of Anderson...this will be one to watch!
  7. Did not see this one coming at ALL! Can't walk through anyone anymore, any given Friday!!!!!
  8. Really expected Fairdale to win this one...any details?
  9. Didn't think this game would be this rough. Was it the weather?
  10. HC's O-line has 3 starter returning from a year ago I think. They are big and physical up front and got under center a bunch at Owensboro cath. They don't do a lot side to side, but rather like to pound it inside. Rain might benefit HC, they can still throw when they want in the rain, afterall, they practice in it too.
  11. I am aware that you were commenting on the ALL A, my point was they couldn't play with the rest of the ALL-A 8th region (based on the rest of the W's on their schedule that year-only big win was vs. HC)...but I guess we'll never know. With that said, it's a moot point and OC will have a TOUGH schedule, no Cornerstone Christian's on that schedule. We shall see how it plays out. Good luck.
  12. GREAT article!! That is exactly what needs to be said. Those things are terrible. I grew up on a military post and you pride yourself on being a "seperate" community. A community that pulls together because of the unique situation that you have over the civilian population. These kids need the people that they rely on most, those on post. Just like a soldier needs his post to support him when many are against his battle, these kids need their post to support them in the battle to beat this streak! It's easy to be on the band wagon, now it's time for the folks at Fort Knox to put up or shut up...get behind your boys and they might just surprise you!
  13. I agree, I thiink they will come out with spit fire remembering last years game. Curry was tossed out and Spencer took it to Hills. However, This one is gonna be a slop fest, Hills didn't fare so well against East in this type of weather. This might be one of the more interesting games in the area!
  14. On that one, he was the fastest player on the feild...that was able to play at least. It's ok, one kid can be faster than FHS kids. It's not personnal, I have seen both play and he was the fastest kid on that night. Who knows what happens any other time. Can only base it off what happened. Overall team speed, sure Frankfort is faster, but that kid from SC was faster than anyone on the feild on that run, that night. Good luck to both clubs! :thumb:
  15. Either way, nobody on the feild was going to catch him (that is why my statement about speed was made)...4x100 or not. Good thing it wasn't a track meet. IF Hills lets it become a track meet they are done...their 4x100 is not nearly as good.
  16. I would say 10-12. Maybe more. The name Tilghman doesnt scare anyone anymore. Heck, 3 or 4 could easily quit tomorrow. Seems to b par for the course over the last few weeks!
  17. This one could make for a slobber knocker! This has become an interesting series as of late...edge goes to the home team in my opinion. Both places are tough to play in!
  18. Rome wasn't built in a day, this program is going in the right direction!
  19. You're the man Mike, had no clue how the history of these two had played out. Should make for an exciting game, I am sure BOTH coaches will have their teams prepared. Have been impressed witht he job that both have done at their respective programs.
  20. I have watched the Woodford Co. game and the North game, and SO looked MUCH better vs. Woodford (I am referring to the get after it attitude they displayed). From an outsider's opinion they just looked much more confident in their opener than against North. That is where I am basing my opinion. Just an observation from the stands.
  21. I know what you are trying to say, but I wasn't basing it soley on w's. Simply put, right now MANY 3A teams would beat PT. They are as strange a team to analyze as any, but they are currently what they are, and that is no way a top ten team in 3A regardless of how 3A is from top to bottom, IMO. Not being criticle of you.
  22. Good job big guy, wrong thread! Try the 1A thread.:taz:
