  1. Really? Was that not the issue when FHS played SC? Seemed like 11 was the fastest player on the feild. Just my observation though.
  2. Indeed. The last time HC went to Goshen they knocked off a good North club. This game hasn't been decided by more than a TD in sometime. Big difference last year was the injury to the Butler kid, he's TOUGH and looks to be full go...that could give North a few fits. Will see how North looks after losing such a good ball player in Tuller, he was pretty darn good!
  3. Looking at the KHSAA Henry was pretty soft against the run at Owensboro Cath, if they sure that up North will have a tough time. If HC doesn't get the run stopped, it's gonna be a tough row to hoe for the Wildcats. This game is ALWAYS tough!
  4. Spencer has BETTER speed than Frankfort has, but their defense is not very good. This one could be a shoot out! Too tough to call, seems like Spencer has had Hills number the past couple years. Should be fun to watch.
  5. Looking at the score, I would say their Defense is equally as tough as the O. Hard to believe that WH was shut out and held to one touchdown the past two weeks in Jessamine Co. WH will be fine, but I wouldn't put them at the tops of any district right now either. North and Spencer both finished ahead of the Wolverines last year and Spencer didn't graduate a soul. This district looks very level at the moment to me.
  6. Looks pretty good, I think Murray could have an outside shot, but FC looks primed to do it again.
  7. HA! Sure, lets say Hopkinsville is as good as St. X. Graves is on par with Ballard...etc? NO, that is silly. PT is going to implode and Randy Wyatt isn't going to make it. This program is falling apart...there is way too much going on internally with PT. Central will be fine, nobody will challenge them athletically this season in 3A. PT has athletes, but they haven't bought in. Central has the hardware to prove they have bought in. PT is done.
  8. Hopkinsville is not what they usually are, I think that is obvious. Mayfeild still a good ball club, and Graves is decent. The last time I checked the only thing tht matters is the scoreboard. Pull any name out of a hat, but PT is downright bad from inside out. If we are basing this on potentiel, the yeah, keep em in there. If we are basing this on who they have been beat by, then keep them in there. IF we are basing this on who they have beaten, then I don't think they should be up there...but that is just my opinion.
  9. Tilghman is not top anything...program is falling apart.
  10. E'town is really down this year. I expected much more in Panther country this season, even with some HUGE losses in graduation.
  11. Wow, South is really struggling to find their way right now. I really don't know much about their program, but I can't imagine they are as bad as this score indicates. How does their schedule play out and can they get another win? Just asking an honest question and don't mean any slight.
  12. This one is going to get out of hand. South has really good looking kids, but OC has the MENTAL advantage.
  13. I'm not buying it. Conerstone Christian should not compete with a school the size of Henry County. Playing in the NCKC may make your recored look good, but doesn't get prepared for a regional title in my opinion (playing in that conference is a choice, not a mandate). So yes, I stand by my user friendly comment. Of the games he played, they were ALL very winnable outside of perhaps Shelby Valley (whom HC only played beacuse they ended up in the "All A"-the largest school in the ALl A I might add. I do enjoy watching OC athletics, and wish them the best of luck. :thumb:
  14. Isn't that area of the county a big area for "move ins" (especially from Louisville-big homes-big money-lures people out of the city), you build your program with what you have...including those who "move in". Doesn't count? Should there be an asteric next to the wins due to kids who "move in"? If that were the case Lex Cath, Scott Co., Clark Co (countless others)....etc would all have asterics.
  15. Absolutely correct. They might be better off kicking out of bounds!
  16. Try rereading my post. I am not talking about this year, you only know about what HC has done this year. I, however, don't disagree that they need to score more points, but giving up 42 ain't getting it done either. Coach E will get the ship righted!
  17. Play better as a TEAM. If they had not produced ENOUGH points they would be ofer. You clearly have not followed HC up until this year, if you had you would know that their offense has not had many issues, and their defense has always done a good job. Perhaps defenses they play are doing a decent job? I know, odd concept. :thumb:
  18. The only one that matters is the last one. Any team that gets beat always needs more points for and less against. Henry has played great defense for years, nothing new there!
