I hear PCC has a new coach that has won a title or two? That can breed confidence, and confidence is a dangerous thing. Doesn't HC have a new DC? If the defense can stop anyone (I really don't mean that to be as negative as that may sound), then they might have a shot. I say HC in a close one...this one may come down to the wire!

I am going to go out on a limb and take the Titans. We saw what speed can do in the state tittle, perhaps Mercer has comparable speed. I take Mercer by a TD.

According to KHSAA they are 3A in football, not small 2A.

I agree Henry should be in the hunt to win the district every year. It should be RARE that they don't make it to the region. I see why Holland would leave, no real opportunity to win the region at Henry, even in a region that is not tough by comparison to other regions. I do wish Henry luck in finding the right person who will bring stability for years to come.

I think he's from Virginia or has some ties there...maybe he's heading back that way?

Looking at the past schedules, I hope they play up a little bit (no offense, but teams like Corner Stone probably shouldn't be on the schedule with a school that has over 600 kids-according to KHSAA). I think that would really improve the quality of basketball in HC. Could be a good program for the right guy...they need someone who won't use the job as a stipping stone to something "better". Good luck in finding your new guy.

I have seen them play and I don't thnk anyone on his staff will go. They are, for the most part, old Henry Co. guys.

That isn't posted anywhere and it seems Coach English is doing a good job...why would he be out?

Been a long time since he dawned the pads. Can he handle the speed of the game? It's a whole heck of a lot faster since he last strapped it up!!

Lots of talent in the capital city...Frankfort is a gem in the rough. I wish them nothing but luck in finding the RIGHT guy for the situation.

Will be interesting to see how this pans out, could have a ripple effect in the 8th.
