Trimble made a 5A school look down right bad according to the score. Henry edged by two very AVERAGE teams per the KHSAA. Trimble pulls it off late, 28-20.

Fairdale has a ton of speed, but Oldham Co. plays some pretty darn good football. Faridale could take this one if Oldham doesn't contain their speed. Fairdale 28-21

I have seen first hand how these two teams are not all that fond of each other. This will make for an interesting match-up. I'll take Central in a shocker!! 21-20

Their coach has done an outstanding job of building a program. North is becoming the basketball school of the county.

I don't think Oldham's schedule will be what the former HC coach is used to. At HC they were able to play very small schools (while winning some and losing some), they built some confidence that way. I don't, however, see OC being able to get Cornerstone Christian and schools like that on the schedule. OC will see a dramtic drop off in the wins/losses column if Holland can't get it more user friendly like he's used to. How long will they tolerate that? It's always tough to follow a legend.

Isn't copying one of the finest forms of flattery? I would be proud that HS teams were using our logo if I were those colleges! That is a shame, and the sad part is they would probably recruit kids from schools that are using those logos and never think twice about it. I would like to think prestigious academic institutions would have better things to do! Sad.

I was at the scrimmage with Ballard, and if Highlands is playing how they normally play, this one might get really ugly really fast. I'll take HHS by 5 TD's before they call off the wolves.

This will be a fun one to watch!!

Kind of suprised Carroll is playing them. CC is a good program,they win by 5 or 6 TD's.

I hear PCC has a new coach that has won a title or two? That can breed confidence, and confidence is a dangerous thing. Doesn't HC have a new DC? If the defense can stop anyone (I really don't mean that to be as negative as that may sound), then they might have a shot. I say HC in a close one...this one may come down to the wire!

I am going to go out on a limb and take the Titans. We saw what speed can do in the state tittle, perhaps Mercer has comparable speed. I take Mercer by a TD.

According to KHSAA they are 3A in football, not small 2A.
