oldonetechnique Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Wright is to me the best player on this team....they go as he goes
jvdfc Posted October 10, 2009 Author Posted October 10, 2009 Wright still needs to get the ball more. He is the best player on that team. Congrats to this young man. He runs hard and now must get ready for the tough Henry Co. D.

PigSkinFan42 Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Wright is probably the best FB I have seen at WH in several years. I have said in more than one thread on here that he needs to be the go to guy and touch the ball more I have always said that if he has 20 or more touches in a game Hills can be very successful. Last night's win was a great team effort both teams had several turnovers, however Hills was able to keep their witts about them and recover almost immediately. Good job guys keep it up.. :dancingpa
csafootball Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Heard that the spencer coach was tossed in the final minute(s) of the game??? Any truth, couldn't make it and would hate for him to be out of the next game.

That's just a guess.
Osceola5454 Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Do not think they ejected Spencer's coach - no ejection notification gived by ref. The officials did a good job on the picked up flag and got the call correct. The back judge threw the flag from 20 yards behind the play, but the side judge (only 5 yards away and in front of play) immeadately started to wave off the flag. It is VERY unusual to see flag picked up, but it was the correct call. Was a big win for Hills. Offensive and defensive lines did a great job controlling the line of scrimmage. Hills was able to keep Spencer's running attack in check much of the night - limiting Spencer's leading rusher to 28 yards (averaging around 190 coming in). JWright did a great job on both sides of the ball. His rushing yards were huge, but LB play just as important. Another big district game at Henry County this week!
