Why does Brossart have limited numbers? I know they have a transfer from Walton, but did they lose anybody other than seniors from last year?

The 10th region tournament will be held at Bourbon County this year.

According to the KHSAA web site, no one has them scheduled for 2010-2011. I think it would be very difficult to schedule now.

I think SK has a great coach. But I am not too sure about them having the best player in the 8th. I dont think they have the best player in their own district.

The rules are the same for public or private. If you change schools after you have played varsity (unless you are a middle school student), you would have to sit out a year when changing schools. The only exception is if you move out of one school district and into another. So, unless the family has moved out of the Mason County School district, she would have to sit out a year.

They have not had a team in several years and rumor is that they will not field a team this coming year.

I think she was a freshman last year and did play varsity for Mason County. So there is no good reason for her to be eligible to play at St Pat. If the rules are followed, she will have to sit out a year and will not be eligible to play until her Junior season.

I have a hard time believing that if a player is really good, that they will not make the team? That might be the case for marginal players, but I highly doubt an elite player would be cut because of their summer affiliation?

From only seeing the second half, Beechwood is going to struggle if they are behind and have to throw the ball. The QB for Beechwood seemed to throw short or behind his recievers most of the time. QB for Dixie (Pike), looks like a man playing against boys.

Also, the Ogle girl from Beechwood. She was the best player on Beechwood's varsity as an 8th grader.

I think the rule was put into place so that high schools could not use AAU teams as a way to recruit. If you have 8 girls that play AAU ball together (that go to 4 different high schools) and all of a sudden they decide they all want to go to the same high school??

Things could always change, but they sent an email out to some of the teams they are scheduled to play, asking for a boy/girl varsity double header, because they will not have JV teams next year. And I have not heard anything about a new coach yet.

They need a point guard who can get her the ball.

I think his daughter is the 7th grader that started varsity at point last year. She is a very good player.

They have already declared they will not have a JV team next year, only varsity. Hopefully they have enough numbers for varsity.

They have the talent in house to get it done, some one will step up next year. They will be a very dangerous team.

I would assume that their JV coach would be running the camp and coaching their team.

Bracken and Brossart lost of ton of talent. I think Campbell County will be above both of those teams.
