  1. I haven't seen the Braves in person, but am glad to hear that they are starting to pull the numbers they need to compete. I give the edge to the Juggs, will pick them by 7
  2. Close game, I'll take SC by 4
  3. Good win for BW, Slusher best player on the field by a large margin, maybe the best in NKY.
  4. Not to be redundant, Conner is better than last year, more athletic and noticeably stronger IMO, however they are in for a long night of Dillon Powell and company. Pioneers win by three scores, SK is playing very well.
  5. I am staying on the Camel Bandwagon, CC 14-NCC 7, let it be written, let it be done.
  6. Should be a good game, but I think the numbers favor Sycamore.
  7. I'm picking Ludlow to win, but would like to see a good showing by BC in this one. Saw them play in the Middle School Championship game a couple of years ago at Walton, they were huge, hope some of those kids have grown into their body, would love to see BC become relevant.
  8. I don't have a picture, but being a traditionalist I'm a fan of Beechwoods uniforms, simple and clean.
  9. Yep, Lloyd has some big boys up front, will be interesting to see how well the Beechwood line jells on the offensive side. Im in the minority, but I think it will be a tight game, winning margin less than 7
  10. Good stuff, that was former Beechwood center Jackson Mahorney snapping the ball to the QB......way to break the monotony of camp!
  11. Hand timed, I've had kids run the laser timer and they are always about 3 or 4 tenths slower, if I am not mistaken the laser timing does not go on first movement, but with an actual start. I may be mistaken, but I can assure you Powell runs much faster than 5.03
  12. I predict the station pulls out a squeaker.....24-21
  13. Bombers name the score, I don't think they will run it up, but a 40+ margin of victory wouldn't surprise me.
  14. I'm going with the Camels by 14, shock the world!
  15. I think the Tigers pull this one out, but am in the minority when I think the final margin will be less than 10 points. I don't know much about Lloyd, but have heard they are very athletic. If they can interrupt Fieger to Slusher and stack the box this could be an interesting game.
  16. Scott by 2 TD's. Dixie is young and it will be a year of learning for them.
  17. Hope the Combs kids wasn't forced into giving up his senior year of football for UK baseball. Stringer committed to a far better program and their has been no flack from UL about him playing football.
  18. Great post as well, thanks for bringing a different perspective to that final year. I too wish all the seniors good luck....no truer words were ever spoken, play every play like it is your last.....
  19. Great Post, my son played graduated last year and fortunately is playing football at the next level, but I will never forget the feeling that came over me last year before the first game. What he did not realize, I knew all to well, the last season is over in the blink of an eye. I too had watery eyes after reading this post, best of luck to all the young men who are going through their final journey, my only word of advice, enjoy every minute, you don't get these days back, they are the best of times.
  20. Young man is a beast! Congrats to him, got to see him play when pressed into duty and he responded in a big way! Well deserved.
  21. You are entitled to your opinion, I thought the entire O Line looked a little out of sync, but that is what scrimmages are for. I didn't isolate Justin the entire game, but there were a few plays that he was devastating, on one he was literally blocking the kid 15 yards downfield. I'm sure he had some missed assignments, but the entire line has a couple of weeks to get it figured out. Hope I'm right as well!
