And in my opinion I could see Henry Clay or Lexington Catholic beating all of the public schools in Louisville this year or at least be very very close. It just shows how good St. X and Trinity are right now. Both of them could be a top 25 team in the country or at least close. Putting Lexington together does not equal a top 25 team in the country or not even close.

The Louisville schools in a blowout. Its not even close. I don't know if you put all of Lexington together this year and beat Trinity alone so its a blowout if they merge St. X with them.

Manual may be better than Henry Clay but they lost by 20 to St. X in the playoff game so I don't know if you can say they are head and shoulders better than Henry Clay. They may be better but its pretty close I would say. Either way Manual can't take credit for Trinity whacking Henry Clay. All the public schools in Louisville hate the private schools until the Privates kill the Lexington schools and then they say Louisville Football is WAY better than Lexington, Go Louisville. I get confused is all.

I predicted a pretty bad beating in this game so this was no suprise to me. Lexington football is no where near Trinity and St. X but the Public Schools in Louisville are not doing very well against them as well. Its not like Ballard or Male is lighting it up this year against Trinity or St. X. So lets not start the stuff of Louisville is so great and Lexington is a flop. Valley or PRP doesn't get any state championship rings if Trinity beats everyone to death.

Henry Clay is the best team in Lexington there is no doubt. But just some halftime point stats. Trinity vs. Dunbar 41-0 at the half Trinity vs. Lafayette 35-0 at the half in Lexington Henry Clay vs. Lafayette 7-7 at the half Henry Clay vs. Dunbar Game 1 21-6 Henry Clay at the half Henry Clay vs. Dunbar Game 2 0-0 at the half. I am using these first half stats because Trinity is so good there starters hardly played against Dunbar and Lafayette in the second half. Honestly I think this will be the worst beating Henry Clay has taken from Trinity in the last few years.

I don't think SLINK is making a prediction he is saying that Dunbar would take the score that William Munny predicted.

Madison Central was the #2 seed they played Clark County at Madison Central.

Maybe it's not an upset but I and a lot of people were shocked when Woodford County beat Johnson Central, especially as bad as they beat them.

See if anyone actually knew how to beat Trinity on the road all they would have to do is take that guys Toys R Us Drum away and about 3,000 of the Trinity fans would be lost in their organized cheering. :laugh::laugh::laugh: Go Rocks Go would now be No Rocks No :lol:

I give Trinity all the credit in the world. They played one heck of a football game especially their quarterback. He throws well on the move and Trinity uses so many formations to keep you off balance it is a great offense. Coverdale does one heck of a job with the Offense at Trinity. It was great to see Dunbar who was down big at the half come out in the second half and not fold up the tent and get a bunch of personal fouls or cheap shots because they were getting beat they just kept playing and really proved something to me last night even agains their second team for Trinity which is most likely a top 25 team in the state just with their second team. Dunbar is full of Juniors like #33 Jerrel Greene, #3 Marquis Clay, #21 Martaveous Mays, #45 Steven Willis so Dunbar has better days ahead of itself.

Its quite obvious you don't give a crap about the Dunbar program on whether they win or lose, you just care about seeing the old days of Chip Franklin throwing the ball on every down. I'm sure you would be pumped if Dunbar was 0-4 right now but was in shotgun throwing every down. If you think Dunbar should go shotgun and throw the ball every play you need to call your old buddie Jim Franklin and he will fix your ideas. And by the way Dunbar lost to Corbin and Scott County because they are the two best teams they have played so far. Tates Creek and Bryan Station would get whacked by Corbin. Yes, they beat Bryan Station 45-3 and Tates Creek 34-14 and held Ty Sparks to 44 yards Rushing. But don't worry people will be on here soon enough calling for Dunbar's coaching staff to go because they didn't win using the video game style

Henry Clay was neck and neck with St. X in a scrimmage this year. I'm not saying Henry Clay will win but "way to strong" is not a phrase I would use.

I agree with this. We need to rethink and ask "why did we go to 6 classes to begin with?" The true answer is teams like Woodford, and Bryan Station didn't think it was fair to be in the same class as Trinity and St. X with the large difference of boys in the schools. Even though Bryan Station was the last Lexington team to be Trinity

Shelton's case was a little odd. He had an unbelievable year in 99 when he and Station went to the Title game but the problem was he was only a Junior. His senior year Bryan Station really came back down to earth and didn't have that great of a season. I can't imagine anyone from Lexington winning Mr. Football his Junior year.

Fine, if you want to say Tates Creek was better last year thats fine. Or even if you want to say Dunbar has to beat Tates Creek to prove they are better but to say Tates Creek is "undeniably better" is a far out stretch for this years team especially Tates Creek getting beat in the first week.

Get off of Dunbar last season record. Tates Creek beat Dunbar 17-14 in Overtime last year. I'm not listening to anything saying Tates Creek is "undeniably" better than Dunbar. Maybe if Tates Creek had played MBA, Ryle, and PRP their record would have been a little worse too

Go back to 4 classes like it has always been or if we stick to 6A make only 2 teams getting into the playoffs from each district instead of 4.

I haven't got to see St. X this year so I can't say if its dissapointing or not. But from the outside looking just from scrimmage play it looks like Male may be the team who struggles this year after what happend to them from Highlands.

Madison Central has a better chance of winning this week against Danville than Mercer does.
