Dunbar 34 Tates Creek 14

Featured Replies

Major Props to PLD's OL and DL they dominated tonight. They owned the line of scrimmage and pushed the Dores around. There is no way PLD should be 2-3. Dunbar has way too much talent to be 2-3.

Looks like Coach Hensley and the gang are getting this bunch back on track. It is about time the line started playing real football and not powder puff...

Dunbar has a ton of talent. If there is one knock on them though it is they have no passing game at all. Believe it or not TC actually threw the ball some tonight and scored on a 80 yard TD strike (short throw, long run)

Dunbar is 2-2. They were open last week.

ah, true, still 2-2 is disappointing to me, PLD looked very good last night.

Nice job Dawgs, very suprising in a good way.

That would make Dunbar 2-0 in lexington??

Yes, they beat Bryan Station 45-3 and Tates Creek 34-14 and held Ty Sparks to 44 yards Rushing. But don't worry people will be on here soon enough calling for Dunbar's coaching staff to go because they didn't win using the video game style

^I wouldn't call fullback dive out of a million formations "video game style".:p

Dunbar has a tough stretch of games coming up, good to see Coach Hensley get the W.

I don't know what the problem is at PLD, but there is a problem. 2-2 is not good enough for the amount of talent on that team.

I had a friend at this game and said that PLD has gone a different direction in their offensive philosophy, rather than throwing, they are running the ball more often and using the option attack.

Any thoughts/ideas?

I think Dunbar is on the same level as Lafayette. Any thoughts on this?

In the Lexington poll thread, I put them in front of Lafayette and behind HC and LexCath.

Good to see "the Golfer" back in form. Where were you in the Scott Co. thread when the dogs laid an egg at home? You do have the "inside stuff" on PLD. Lot fo talk after beating creek, but nothing after laying the egg and losing at 2A Corbin. What happened in those two games?

I seriously doubt it will get them back to elite status, especially if they can't throw. They aren't big nor fast enough to be one-dimensional.

Glad someone else can see it too. Don't let certain others see you saying that. The staff is "godlike" to them and can do no wrong.
