Just talked to the athletic office, and this scrimmage scheduled for tonight has been cancelled due to heat. I was really looking forward to driving to Lexington tonight and seeing two of the top 6A teams square off...how disappointing! :irked:

This has to be a HUGE disappointment for the players. They practice everyday, hitting each other and to have a scrimmage game against HC, get cancelled. I'm sure X will be ready for Ballard next Friday.

Scrimmage has been rescheduled for tomorrow at 6.

Are St.X Greenies and JV scrimmaging each other today?

Is the varsity scrimmage still on for tonight?

17-14 X...I believe...Hueser (sp?) and the OL'man got injured...though they should be fine.....Zoeller did not look sharp whatsoever.

With Henry Clay performing like this against X,and Boone dismantling Beechwood it seems to me like 6A may be more wide open than originally thought.

Did you see the game RP? Was henry Clay as quick as they were last year?

6A is going to be awesome everywhere. I said that when the classes got expanded, football would get better. Henry Clay seems to be doing awfully well after Minniefield left. They probably do get the most talent here in Lex..

They are overall quicker yes....very very rough around the edges....

Actually, I really think X just isn't there yet...now they are banged up as well. I really thought Zoeller would be where he needed to be as of yet, but that hasn't happened...and I am shocked that Deuce isn't ready to go the way we saw him the last two years. That said, I look for X to be at full speed come the 28th of September.
