Centers cant score touchdowns. Without Hooker they havent won a game with him they are 2-0. Simpson is a good player but not someone who changes whether you win or lose like Hooker does.

They might be but Henry Clay has got their best player back in Hooker and they may be the best now. He hasn't played this year till the Clark County game and he is the only major athlete Henry Clay had returning off last years team. I look for them to get better as the playoffs get closer.

6A is just bad this year not counting St. X and Trinity. Madison Central scrimmaged Lexington Catholic and Boyle County this year and lost both of them and lost bad to Boyle, I believe they were shut out. So, Central losing to Scott County a team they have not beaten since 1999 is no suprise.

To answer your question no, not even close and the better question maybe "Is there anyone in the State of Kentucky that can stay with in 5 touchdowns of Trinity or St. X?" To that question I still may answer no. Highlands might with Trinity maybe, but not with St. X.

3-1 what games are you watching? Dunbar was blown out in their first three games and shut out by Middlesboro. Closest game they played in was a 27 point loss till they played Tates Creek. Its more of Tates Creek is pretty bad as well and Lexington as a whole is TERRIBLE this year other than Lafayette. As a whole this is the worst Lexington has been in many many years. There is a very good chance that neither Dunbar or Tates Creek will win another game.

Thats a very high prediction. Western Hills only beat West Jessamine by 8 points. East was up on West 31-7 in the 4th quarter until they put some younger kids into play. I think it will be hard for Western Hills to win by that much when it looks like their starting quarterback will not be playing, who is a VERY good player by the way.

Heard Dunbar may bust out the old pig set tonight on offense against Tates Creek. Be kinda odd seeing that formation again.

Bob Beatty is a big reason and Coverdale in my opinion is the biggest reason Trinity dominates right now. Unless they are playing a national power Trinity averages around 40 points and no one can score that many on them.

Its the Parents and the Board of Education who lets them run the show, plain and simple. Dunbar has basically a General Manager running their football program. He is a parent and he calls the shots of who gets hired, fired, pretty much everything except for play calling. Dunbar Parents run that place. I dont think I've seen a team go from 8th in 6A to dead last in two weeks but when Parents run the show thats what happens.

Dunbar is an awful team right now. If they dont win this week they may not win a game. Last year they beat Bryan Station by 42 points and this year they lost to Station by 31 points. Parents over there at Dunbar got what they wanted.

I heard Pulaski County beat Tates Creek 35-14 for the entire scrimmage. Kinda strange Tates Creek and Dunbar go down to Pulaski and East Jessamine.

Its going to be a long year for Dunbar. East Jessamine has a shot at being a very good football team in 4A this season.

Scott County and Lexington Catholic are still under contract for this year. I dont think you will see these two play anymore after this season.

OK, I will give my list 1. Bryan Station vs. St. X: State Championship Game 4A 1999: This game came down to the final play in overtime for a State Championship where St. X came out on top, my favorite game of all time. 2. Highlands vs. Bell County: Final Four 3A 2004: The favorite for the title vs. the underdog and for 3 and a half quarters the underdog won the battle but could not hang on at the end. Maybe the greatest atmosphere for a game I have ever been too. 3. Madison Central vs. Dunbar 1996: Last Game of Regular Season for District Championship: Madison Central enters the game 9-0 and Dunbar enters at 8-1. Madison Central wins 20-6 to go 10-0 with a serious shot to win the State Championship and was beaten by Boone County two weeks later and Dunbar came out of that region beating Boone County a week after Boone beat Central and made it to the finals to play Nelson County where they lost by one point in overtime. 4. Highlands vs. Boyle County State Championship Game 2004: With Mike Mitchell not playing in the finals there was a serious doubt if Highlands could hang on and beat Boyle as they did earlier in the season and knock of the 5 time in a row State Champions from Boyle County. 5. Madison Southern vs. Boyle County: Regional Championship 1996: This was a game that made an impression on me having my dad teach at Madison Southern and being a Principal in Berea and the week before Madison Southern upset the undeafeated Corbin Redhounds and was beating Boyle County 28-14 in the 4th Quarter but Boyle came back and went for a two point conversion with only seconds left and the game with the score at 27-28 and the two point try was good and Boyle came back to win 29-28, a crushing blow for the people of Berea. This game took place a week after Madison Central's undefeated season came to an end and the roar in Berea that week was nothing anyone has ever seen up that point and since then.

1999 4A State Championship: Bryan Station vs. St. X St. X wins on 4th and Goal in Overtime.

Trinity was on the opposite side of St. X when Scott County made it to the finals so that is a different argument from the year Ryle went to the finals. Opposite of Trinity and St. X is the Lexington Schools, Scott County's district and Male. I don't think the finals will be as bad as you think.

Dunbar did not lose their coach. David Hensley is their head coach.

I believe Male ,the Lexington Schools and Scott County's district are on the other side this year from Trinity and St. X.

Congragulations to Mark Scenters. He has earned a head coaching job and he will do a great job at Garrard County. Madison Central loses a great football coach.
