The rest of 6A looks really down this year to me.

Nope. Male 06 and the Henry Clay teams of the past few years are leaps and bounds better than all other 6A this year.

 

I have seen #3 Madison Central 3 times and they have looked very impressive at times, but no way they could keep it within 30. Highlands and Boyle are better than the rest of 6A IMO...

Heck, T barely covered that margin themselves. I don't see it happening, a whole different ball game when those teams are on the field.

I haven't seen Madison Central, but no one I have seen could play within five touchdowns of St. X and Trinity (I have not seen this year's edition, yet) .

 

I am thinking this year's Highlands team can't be as strong as last season's team. Anyone in the know care to comment on this?

 

Boyle County is better than any 6A team that I have seen this year with the exception on the Louisville privates, of course.

I think HHS's offense this year is a little better than last years..They are alot more successful with the passing game this year compared to last year. Last years defense was real nasty and could play with anybody..If I had to choose I think last years team by a slight margin...:thumb:

I'd like to see a Highlands matchup with T or X here in the near future. I think it would be great for all of Kentucky to watch as two powers in the state battle it out.

 

It would help both teams definitely prepare for state as they would be playing top-notch opponents.

I know there is no one in 6A from Louisville east that could even give Trinity a game. I watch the scores from the teams in your western part of the state and I see no one.

 

Who is 6A could even give the second best team in the state (Trinity) a little competition?

 

I do understand that any team can beat another on any night, but realistically, no one is even within several touchdowns of the Big 2 this season in Kentucky Class 6A.

To answer your question no, not even close and the better question maybe "Is there anyone in the State of Kentucky that can stay with in 5 touchdowns of Trinity or St. X?"

 

To that question I still may answer no. Highlands might with Trinity maybe, but not with St. X.

In decent field/weather conditions ... it will come as a big surprise if anyone does.
