As has already been posted, it is quite comical. The KHSAA can put some spin on it but why does the round when T/X can potentially meet change every couple of years? What are the other stated factors bearing on this change, if any? It doesn't make any difference, IMO, to most X and T supporters ($$$$) but why does it make such a difference to the KHSAA officials?

It's called Power and it will give someone else a chance to play in the big game. I see it as being a good thing for everyone.

Not if we have another blow out. Ryle and Scott County (they made it fair and square) getting drilled is not a good thing for everyone.

Trinity was on the opposite side of St. X when Scott County made it to the finals so that is a different argument from the year Ryle went to the finals. Opposite of Trinity and St. X is the Lexington Schools, Scott County's district and Male. I don't think the finals will be as bad as you think.

Have you seen the Trinity v. Lexington semifinals the past three years? What's the average margin of victory? Somewhere around 4 touchdwons roughly?

I know all that, I said they made it fair and square Golfer. Dixie beat Trinity, Boone beat Dixie, Scott County beat Boone, and X beat Scott County.

 

My point is public schools getting it handed to them in the finals is not good for KY football and putting T and X on the same side of the bracket is generally speaking not good for KY football.

I see no reason to believe that that trend will change. The finals will be a sleeper ans X and T will get the payday of a playoff game where they can bank all the money.

Lex Cath was probably the best Lex team last year.I know Trinity scrimmaged them right!

Good point Trinity was up 35-6 after 3 quarters and X beat them 41-9 on the road.

 

Lexington Christian may also have been better than some of the 6A teams in Lexington last year.

Is this somekind of recreation league. Make sure you bring snacks for after the game.

You know, just like T-ball. Everyone plays and has fun yet the score is not "officially" kept. All games end in a tie. This way it builds character and develops are youth..... Do you think the KHSAA will adopt this system for Football??? Check one:
