I was very impressed with the coach from WV. He will do a nice job there.

Most schools lose money on a state tourny trip. You see alot of them fundraising to try and pay for it.

Nice win for Anderson. Fultz looked terribly ill. Brown scored a lot, but her passing was impressive. It's hard to believe McKee is a 7th grader.

I'm sure South and Anderson are happy to be away from Simon.

Should be some great basketball next week.

Congrats to South Oldham.

Anderson played well against a Spencer Co. team that has come on off late. It looks like the Lady Bearcats might be getting momentum heading into the region. The draw is HUGE.

I think South Oldham is going to be the wild card. I don't think they are consistant enough to win it, but are talented enough to knock off SK or AC.

I'd say the winner of the 30th will potentially have a huge advantage in the region.

It will be interesting to see if Anderson can build some momentum going into regionals.

Zimmerman is one of the finest coaches in the state. She is a class act, and the 8th region is going to miss her.

It would be nice to see Penny 1st team All-State and Russell honorable mention. They've had great seasons.

Anderson JV's best player, another 7th grader, didn't play against South. That being said, S. Oldham and Anderson will be major impacts in the future.

Haven't seen North play, but South should be the heavy favorite.

McKee is a seventh grader.

Shaw had 20 pts for Shelby. It wasn't THAT physical. However, it was physical on both ends. I'd say it was well officiated based on the fact it was consistent.

Huge win for Montgomery Co.!

The officials let them play. Any time Anderson and Shelby play it is going to be physical. Fultz and Davenport both played well. Brown showed flashes at times. The McKee girl looked outstanding. 20+ points in the JV game, and 13 points in just over a quarter of action in the varsity game

Eriel McKee (7th Grade) Anderson, had her coming out party tonight. She had 20+ points and probably 10 rebounds in the JV game versus Shelby. Then, she had 13 (I think all in the 2nd half) points in the Varsity game. She has a bright, bright future.

It's hard to know too much about Anderson right now, they haven't played in two weeks. This Friday (Shelby) should give an indication of how they are at this point.
