Looks like Casey pretty much has a bye to championship game. Bottom bracket will be tough with Wayne, Lincoln and Rock. Good luck to all the girls.

I will pick Rockastle Co. to win the Region and advance to the State Tournament.

I would not be so quick to count the Lady Warriors out. A pretty good basketball team that took Casey to OT at Casey. I think this will be a pretty tight ballgame.

OK, I was wrong.

 

Casey played a great game last night. Shooting over 70% from the field in the first half.

I guessing, Rock vs Casey for the championship. These two know each other very well. I have several friends from Rockcastle so I'll be cheering for them, but I think Casey is the team to beat and would have to give them the nod.

 

But until then. I'm hoping for the huge upset. Go Titans!

Wayne will match up well with Rock. I think they may well be the darkhorse. I will pick Casey to win title by 4 over Lincoln just because Pittman works so hard on offensive glass.

It just looked like SW was ready to be done. No emotion, no fire in them...Didn't even look like they wanted to get up and down the floor.

 

The difference was the dominance inside by Casey. Casey plays smart when others don't.

Wayne gave Rock a good game at the season opener and went to Bowling Green two years ago. Rockcastle thumped them pretty good a few weeks ago.

But hold on, I just checked my calender, and ... it's MARCH. Anything can happen.

If Rock gets the ball moving around like they did most of the season, it could be a difficult evening for the girls from Wayne.
