Lincoln County seniors Ethan Spurlin (12th Region Player of the Year) & Trevor Edginton are signing with Transy today at 1:30 to play basketball for Coach Lane. Congratulation to both of these young men. I am very proud of them. :thumb:

Lincoln has fallen apart. Very disapointing after stringing around 5 wins in a row there early in the season.

Coach Yeast played at Harrodsburg not Danville. It is now Mercer Co. I guess.

Nor will it be. Craig is not running that kind of offense. Just because he was an air raid player doesn't mean he will be an air raid coach. :thumb:

That isn't the point. The point is that there is no reason to air out this dirty laudry on the internet. Craig wants to be a college coach some day. I don't think he needs this floating around the interenet.

If you want to support Coach Yeast you will not air this on BGP or anywhere else on the internet. It looks like he is not losing his job at all. Now more rumor and innuendo will get started.:sssh:

I agree 100% I am in no rush. I think Coach Settles will do a great job with these boys. I know he and his staff have already been combing the halls of Lincoln County High School asking young men to come out and play football. I think that is great. These kids that don't play miss out on the chance to play a team sport often don't know what they are missing out on.

Exactly. We need to improve in depth as much as anything in my humble oppinion. Lincoln has to get more kids in the weight room. Being good at football isn't just about having 1, 2, or 3 stud players. Even the last few years (prior to last year) when Lincoln was having success they had some nice players, but the Jr. and Soph. class was strong those years and were under appreciated. Lincoln just hasn't had the numbers to be successful. Get the kids in the summer program consistantly and let the coach do his job. It is hard to coach when you have no depth, just look at last years team. They were mired by injuries and had little back-up support. Hence the record. No offensive or defensive coordinator would have made a difference. There just wasn't enough players that were ready to call to action on the sidelines last season.

Is Roobles back from suspention yet? And is Weir still injured for Lincoln? I know Owens broke his hand and is out for the season.
