  1. I am not sure what your definition of megaprospect is... However, Nix was the top prospect in the Rangers organization atleast one year. Maybe the top rated prospect by Baseball America in one of the Major League Baseball Teams does not designate a "megaprospect"... But it means you certainly have a level of high TALENT. I am finished with this discussion, you may type any rebuttle that you would like. I am just tired of hearing about your man-crush on Nick Swisher.
  2. Swisher may not be much better than these two. If Nix can stay healthy he has the TALENT to be much better. He was a highly touted of a prospect as anyone in baseball just a few years ago.
  3. 3 lefties in a row won't be seen consistantly throughout the rest of the season.
  4. At what price though. When you are a GM you have to not only think about skills and ability but... How much it is going to cost.
  5. Probably not, but his nonchalant attitude didn't help the Reds. I think their chemistry is much better without him.
  6. hoopboy, he was a walk-on, remember:confused:. He has nothing to apoligize for.
  7. Those are all great names, but all unatainable. Lee isn't getting traded inside the division Swisher isn't going anywhere from New York unless it is for a marquee type player in a multi-player deal & Cuddyer will stay in Minnesota unless we are willing to trade someone like Yonder Alonso for him (the Twins would love that).
  8. Agreed... But a face-to-face apoligy. Not a Twitter apology.
  9. If that were to happen both Kobe & Lebron would have to win 3 rings each while they were in the league together like Bird & Magic did. (That isn't happening). Is it? :idunno: By the way, I love the comercials!
  10. I agree 100% but to say that Lebron gets favorable treatment... I can't. There were plenty of chances for the refs to make calls against the Magic last night in the 4th quarter and OT when Lebron would drive to the basket. I think the game was well officiated. The Magic played better and came out on top. The NBA has to be, by far, the toughest sport to officiate.
  11. I thought Lebron may not have been hit last night at the end of the 4th quarter, but if he were to get favorable treatment then where was the call on Howard when Lebron took that 3 in overtime?
  12. Great point! Herrera has done a great job all year outside his first appearance. I have been really proud of the way the Reds have battled and never given up on a single game this season. I just wish the fan support were there... I always said if they put a winner on the field the people would fill Great American Ball Park... But I guess I was wrong. (They must have come to see Griffey & Dunn put up more losses than wins) :idunno:
  13. Harang is fine. He went behind the dugout during the rain delay and pitched and rested and pitched and rested just like he was pitching 8 or 9 innings as he has done several times. He only needed to get one more out to get the win and he got it. Nice win for the Reds.
  14. Nothing better than being told that a team might draft you with the 15th pick, then actually getting drafted in the second round. Meeks needs to come on back for one more great season! :thumb:
