gold sunrise Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Okay this is where it gets really interesting. There is a bunch in this category. Ricardo Johnson Ge'lawn Guyn Aaron Cosby Robbie Stenzel Marcellus Barksdale Rame Abell Ian Chiles Keiston Jones Trey Stewart Nichols (Henry Clay) Tate Cox Ashley Hatfield Cody Miller Aaron Watts Robbie will not be playing on the wing this year. He will play either PG or 2 G. Our wing players will be Zollo and Purvis.
Log Mountain Boy Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 Robbie will not be playing on the wing this year. He will play either PG or 2 G. Our wing players will be Zollo and Purvis. In general I have always considered wings to be the 2 spot or 3 spot. Thats typically the wings.

westsider Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Josh Forrest- Paducah TilghmanForrest is a point guard.
tash2597 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Forrest is a point guard. I thought he played some of the 2 this past year?
sweet16 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Forrest is a point guard. You are correct in that he played PG this past year but don't you think he will be a wing at the next level?
tash2597 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 You are correct in that he played PG this past year but don't you think he will be a wing at the next level? I was thinking the same. That's why I originally included him.
westsider Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I thought he played some of the 2 this past year?Nope ... he was Tilghman's primary ballhandler and creator.
westsider Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 You are correct in that he played PG this past year but don't you think he will be a wing at the next level?Actually, I see him more as a point, especially with his court vision and lack of a consistent outside shot.
sweet16 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Actually, I see him more as a point, especially with his court vision and lack of a consistent outside shot. I think his shot will come around and be more consistent during the next couple of years. He does have great court vision.
Log Mountain Boy Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 Sewell, Wilson, and Forrest are 3 great ones I left off.
chardice Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Taylor Martin - Lex Cath - he really shined even with Vee Sanford. Tanner Shotwell - Scott Co - sat out this year but his game has really developed.
d-dawg Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 In general I have always considered wings to be the 2 spot or 3 spot. Thats typically the wings. I'm confused with the numbers and what is what. I have been thinking point out front, wing men on side, low post and high post or maybe 2 low post. I may need a diagram?
