Final from Somerset in 5 innings. Lincoln scored 3 in the top of the 1st but that was all they would get. The Briar Jumpers hit 3 homeruns. Sophmore JP Henderlight hit a 3 run shot, Freshman Storm Wilson hit a 3 run shot and Freshman Jared Price added a 2 run shot. Jeremy Toohey got the start for Somerset and notched the win. Somerset improves to 14-4 on the year while Lincoln drops to 8-11.

That was Lincoln's JV team that played last night. Lincoln's coach must be trying to send a message to the Varstiy players after they took a thumping from Garrard Co. ealier in the week.

Lincoln also has alot of guys hurt. They need to get those guys back healthy or its going to be a tough last couple of weeks.

I didn't get to go to the varsity game so I didn't get to see it. I was listening on the radio. My son is a freshman so I made it in time for the JV game. Did Lincoln play the same kids in the JV game? Somerset's JVs won that one 10-4 and hit 2 homers in that one. The ball was really carrying last night, Lincoln's JVs hit a couple of balls off the wall as well.

Lincoln has fallen apart. Very disapointing after stringing around 5 wins in a row there early in the season.
