1) GRC Humphrey coached against billy hicks last year against Scott co. 2) billy hicks coached mcdonalds all American game in 2012 while shabazz Muhammad played in that game 3) shabazz plays for minnesota timberwolves with Kevin Garnett, 4) Kevin Garnett played against Michael Jordan. As well someone mentioned rodman and Kobe. Rodman played with the lakers late in his career.

Randy Salyers is retiring this summer.

Bryan Station's last trip to the sweet 16 was in 1989. Michael Allen played guard and Robert "Nimbo" Hammons was a sophomore on that team. They lost in the old Saturday morning semis to Wayne Co.

I've said this before, but here goes. If the KHSAA was really all about the kids playing the games we'd have classes in KY. The cash cow is the boys state tournament and everyone knows it's about the money and not about that kids playing. I've coached at both ends of the spectrum and I understand both very well. Classes are the only real fair way for competition to be level. You'd think that in high school sports fairness would at least be discussed, but not when your messing with all those dollars.

I'd say he's probably sick of recruiting 8th grade kids to play basketball. Don't panic anyone, it's called open enrollment in Louisville.

The coach should be rewarded not ridiculed. The job of a coach is to put your players in the best possible position to win the game. Until there is a shot clock in all of high school basketball this game plan will be used.

Tommy is nothing but a class act. I have never heard anyone speak negatively of him. He's still going be around helping out. Tommy loves the game and teaching it.

I wasn't there so just asking. Did the girls determine the outcome of the game or did the officials?

Officials going to different regions makes no sense to me. I've coached in both situations and having the officials stay in the original region is best for the players. Of course, all that the KHSAA does isn't always what's best for the student/athletes. The players are used to how the officials in their region call and therefore have little surprises in the region. Games are not always officiated the same from region to region and a lot of times it takes the players some time to adjust. This can have an adverse effect on the game and most definitely the outcome.

I have no dog in the fight and after watching the video it is another travesty by officials. A travesty that has happened and will continue to happen in high school sports. The officials were going to do everything in their power to make sure the game didn't go into OT. Just another example of so called adults messing with the lives of young people. This sort of thing goes on in the regular season, districts, regionals and, yeah I said it, the state tournament. Officials do not have to explain themselves and this is part of the reason for this type of behavior.
