I read that Brad Calipari is reclassifying to 2016 and will attend MacDuffie School in Massachusetts.

Probably let's him have a more normal couple of years of HS ball without being singled out like he would be by opponents fans here.

 

Also makes it easier for Cal to leave UK if Brad is away at school.

I hope it's not too big of a financial burden on the family.

Don't you believe it's because of who he is Wireman? We have all watched him play and there are lots of better talented kids not getting these kinds of invites. Prefect example of what media hype does. Great kid but mediocre talent.

I just think it gives a better shot at being a regular kid than if he stays here...but yeah people will still know who he is, just not be as nuts about it as here in Kentucky

I can see him as at a DII school, IMO more of a role player and would need to find a program thats the right fit. Prep school could help him.

Absolutely because of who he is. All those coaches are friends of Coach Cal and have so much job security that they don't care about winning games for their school.

 

Who you are can take you a long ways. But he's not some jobber who has no ability and I've heard he works as hard as anyone. He'll end up playing somewhere.

If he did not have the last name that he has he would not be getting any attention at all. I've seen him play multiple times. There are a LOT of better players not getting any kind of "love."
