  1. Who cares what color their undershirts are, I'm sure if the KHSAA told them they had to wear the same color they would have. It didn't have an effect on the game.
  2. What did you think about the game?
  3. I would venture to guess that Lloyd's size might have given the Cru some trouble, but I don't know as I wasn't there.
  4. I heard on the telecast that he is hoping to be back on Saturday.
  5. What exactly did they mean by that? Just that they wanted to play Beechwood again or....?
  6. I'd probably replace him with Listerman from Cov Cath just because I don't think Listerman could be competitive with some of the teams Goetz has had. Of couse that's just my opinion for what it's worth ....The other coaches are very well deserving and you can't put Goetz ahead of them yet, but I think by the time he's done coaching he will be amongst the tops. Remember this is only his fourth year coaching varsity.
  7. Without a doubt he does have to deal with major issues year in and year out off of the court and that makes a good coach, no questions. My only question would he have as good of teams with less talent?
  8. I disagree he has been competitive in his four years of coaching in the toughest district in the 9th region with usually the #1 and #2 seed in the region. He hasn't made it to the region yet but his first and second year they were ranked in the top 5 going into districts, they just had to play either the #1 or #2 in first round of districts.
  9. My only question is do you think Henley and Listerman would be able to compete year in and year out without the talent they usually have. I think Henley might be able to, but this year Listerman hasn't fared well. That's the reason I like the coaches such as Faust, Goetz, Hicks, etc... Don't get me wrong Henley and Listerman have to be near the top because they do win almost every year and deserve to be recognized, but just something to ponder on...
  10. Glad to see Ives finally starting to find his shot.
  11. I had forgotten about Hicks and Carr has done a nice job the last two years.
  12. Well then your talking about the wrong players...Lantry and Laible were both JV players that year, Busse had to sit out after transferring from Scott, and Sorrel was a freshman at Cov Cath that year. The year of 04/05 they had Bibbins, Trame, Mando, Wesseling, etc....Also Ryan and Scruggs did play a little that year as sophomores. Also, they were coached by Dan Trame. Goetz's first year of coaching was the 05/06 season.
  13. I'd put Goetz from Holy Cross in there over Mullins and McQueary.
  14. Well then this video makes Pittman look 6'10.:idunno: lol
  15. Bibbins had graduated the year before, but they did have all of the others mentioned as well as Scruggs and Jimmy Ryan as both juniors.
  16. Agreed Holy Cross hasn't really shot very well the whole year. If they start shooting well from the outside especially in big games I think they could surprise even more people.
  17. I see Holy Cross beating them, and maybe either St. Henry or Dixie losing to them but other then that it looks pretty good.
  18. I've got to agree with you there...They always have a solid crowd and even when they don't have as many people there they still cheer and can always be heard.
  19. If the Cru play as good as they did against HC I see them coming out of the 9th region once again.
