Holy Cross 38 Ryle 36
IMO HC deserves some respect after this win.

JUCO v. D-1
JUCO route is the way to go if you can't afford a major program, because major D-1 prgrams give the majority of thier scholarships to pitchers. JUCO also helps a prospect get notices especially if the recruit wasn't noticed much out of high school.

Same as HC.

Best At Each Position in NKY
Thats the only one I would pick, NKY has a nice supply of short stops though. Also what about Lessley from Dixie at second?

Holy Cross 38 Ryle 36
Will be an intense hostile enviornment and these two teams will battle eachother. I agree it will be a great game.

Holy Cross 38 Ryle 36
Ahern's matchup with Giwa presented problems all night for the Raiders. HC had a ton of back door lay ups late in the game. Size wasn't much of a factor because HC out hustled them for every loose ball. When HC generates offense thier a very good team IMO. Thier "D" was pretty much inpenetrable the first half. Good win for the Indians, best of luck against the Bulldogs.

Intense High School Basketball rivalries
It adds so much to the rivalry when the kids at the school don't like eachother. Like it was said before, I would rather be at a game sold out with students than random parents filling the seats. To me when the students get up for the game it seems to add to the play of the players.

"Face of the Program"
You left off Holy Cross too.

Ryle vs. Holy Cross (01/02)
No one on Ryle will be able to gaurd Giwa, espcially when he pushes the ball up the floor. Plus it's not like HC hasn't defended size this year, like mentioned above Mason county, and Nikola from Scott.

Ryle vs. Holy Cross (01/02)
Who is starting for Ryle now? Are all of them bigger then Mason County's starting five who didn't do much inside against HC?

Holy Cross Freshman Tournament
I know the finals are between HC and Boone. HC beat Scott and SK to get there and Boone beat NCC and Highlands.

Holmes v Oldham Co Predictions (12/28)
I know they're the favorite hands down, but weirder things happen and that's all I'm saying. I just don't like it when people are already saying the tournament is over.

Holmes v Oldham Co Predictions (12/28)
I guess they shouldn't even play the rest of the tournament then....

Holy Cross 50 Walton Verona 32
The Indians controlled the game from the tip and WV couldn't do to much to stop it. If the Indians can play their style of game they have a good shot at making it to the championship. IMO

Is baseball the best sport in Kentucky?
I live and die baseball through and through, but Kentucky will always be basketball. With UK and all the tradition with the state tourney, the state will be be basketball.

NKY Top 10
Yeah, I was naming these off the top of my head really, shame on me I guess, I would put Highlands in and take SK out.

Did Tohls (sp)? graduate?

Holy Cross vs. Walton Verona
Isn't Ponzer Walton's go-to guy?

NKY Top 10
Scott I believe was the one, he throws pretty good.

Who was the best Player from your High school ever???
What about Tom Herron from Holmes. I believe he held a lot of records until Beal broke them. I am way to young to have seen him play but I would say he played in probably the late 50's maybe earlier. Has anyone heard of him because I am of course just going off of what I have heard.

NKY Top 10
I meant Bellevue, but thanks for the info.

Holy Cross vs. Walton Verona
This game is on December 27 at 9:45. First round game from the Lloyd tournament. I think Holy Cross's experience will prevail over Walton's inexperience.

NKY Top 10
The pitchers name slips my mind, but he does throw well.
