It adds so much to the rivalry when the kids at the school don't like eachother. Like it was said before, I would rather be at a game sold out with students than random parents filling the seats. To me when the students get up for the game it seems to add to the play of the players.
No one on Ryle will be able to gaurd Giwa, espcially when he pushes the ball up the floor. Plus it's not like HC hasn't defended size this year, like mentioned above Mason county, and Nikola from Scott.
1. The play at the end was NOT a foul, the defenders played him straight up.
2. That was in no way good for UL to lose going into a rivalry game, that just boosts UK's confidence even more.
3. We all remember what happen last time Meeks was in Freedom Hall....
I know they're the favorite hands down, but weirder things happen and that's all I'm saying. I just don't like it when people are already saying the tournament is over.
The Indians controlled the game from the tip and WV couldn't do to much to stop it. If the Indians can play their style of game they have a good shot at making it to the championship. IMO
I live and die baseball through and through, but Kentucky will always be basketball. With UK and all the tradition with the state tourney, the state will be be basketball.
Just for fun, what would you say at this point in the season, before confrence play starts would be the best at all five positions on the floor?
PG- Calathes -UF
SG Meeks -UK
SF- Tyler Smith -UT
PF- Patrick Patterson -UK
C- James Varnardo -MSU
Of course I'm a bit of a UK homer.
